I love the breakdown I've had it since it was introduced and use it with all my small tube amps.

Got to say when I saw a video for what is a boost pedal with very little adjustments in the pedal I didn’t hold high hopes for the sound but have to say…. Really impressed, did not expect that much from single coils, but add some humbuckers and number 5 and life is very good 💁🏻‍♂️

Nice pedal, it does its thing very well. I had no idea Knopfler used one. Cheers!

If I wasn't cheap I definitely would have picked this for my first overdrive, it seems like all my favourite overdrives could also be described as a fuzz when the gain is turned up lol

Quite versatile for 2 knobs, also the pedal sounds great! (Joking, I love your content guys!)

I've got one. To me, it sounds a heck of a lot like a DOD 250. Better as an always on pre-amp, IMHO, than an overdrive. I'll likely sell mine, since I can get the same needs met from my $20 Mosky 250 clone.
I'm waiting for someone on a forum to trace the circuit. I'm curious if it's similar topology as a 250, or something completely different.

      It's a univox uni-drive clone. That predates the 250.

Gabor, at 9:26 you start a chord sequence that is very interesting. Can you tell me what chords those are? I love them 🙂

It’s part of a song idea I had for ages…it starts with an F#m11 kinda thing but without the root on the low E and the high E and B strings are open - so I’m fretting the 4th on the A & D strings and the 2nd fret on the G!
      Then it’s a Dm9 kinda thing, with a 6th in there - the E & B strings are open - I’m fretting the 5th fret on the A & G strings and the 3rd fret on the D
Lastly it’s a G9 kinda thing…with another 6th in there - I’m fretting the 3rd fret on the low E with my thumb and then the 3rd fret on the D & B strings and the 2nd fret on the G…the high E is open again
It ends with a F - G & A barre chords with the E & B strings open …I like the sound of chords with the top two strings open!
      Hope that helped
