I was thinking: if Pete and Jowita are just acting, they must be Strictly's best actors. Not every screen couple in Hollywood can boast of this much chemistry. Sizzling! Their Rumba could have been more fluid but I absolutely loved it. They are a VERY attractive couple.

I was starting to think theyd changed the rules about lifts, cause theres been a few illegal lifts this year and last year that have been ignored, but clearly not, cause they penalised this one. They are so inconsistent about picking people up for them, its really annoying!
Despite that though, this dance was so great, Pete is just getting better and better and Im so happy to see it. Im rooting for him being in the final!!
Craig penalised the lifts, but the "queen of rumba", who really should lead by example rather than allowing other parts of her anatomy rule her judgement, let it go.

Wow, I liked that a lot more than I thought I would as it started. It just got so much better as it continued. At first I was saying that this is a great amateur Rumba, but it got more than that. What incredible technique! His best technique so far! Absolutely Pete's best dance! The first one of his I really truly loved! I forgot about the whole lifts thing, buuuut that's Jowita's fault, and it's a shame Pete's marking suffers for that. I genuinely thought he wasn't going to be undermarked. I understand the deduction due to lifts, but a 5 from Mosti, what?! He deserved higher than this.
Is improving every week every week he doesn't know how to dance but he's trying in best. Jowita welldon. Pete don't give up keep Dancing you get there. Amazing ❤❤❤❤

Considering his dance experience, hip action and sway were pretty damn good, as were the knee spins. Maintained the brooding and serious mood throughout, which is an aspect of musicality and an artistic nature. Arm movements better at the beginning: can't fix everything in the time allotted. Glad Anton appreciates his progress and gave him a 7; two of the other scores were parsimonious, IMO.

Pete just gets better and better. You can see his confidence growing and him relaxing so much more and just having fun too. He's always had to play a tough role in Sleb un-reality crap, but he has potential to move up to,invest in, serious acting, drama(not only soaps etc.) and not be left in the botox,augmentation cosmo heap? Bravo Pete, the real you is a hundred times more,and richer, than just a plastic Sleb cut-out.

There was hip action at times and the chemistry is undeniable. It wasn't great but nice to watch and what a tune aswell, I really feel like Pete has alot of potential in Latin. 4/10
The less-than-full extension of his wrist/hand was driving me crazy! But, to be fair, I only nitpick the little things when the overall presentation is good.
They seem so comfortable at being right in each others personal space that I really wish they get to do an Argentine Tango at some point! It's so rare to see them done with the proper A-frame on Strictly, and I feel like these two could easily create the right atmosphere for an AT. Some of the other couples have constant issues with body contact and emotional connection, but not this pair! Just sort out the footwork and finish the lines with some lovely hand shaping, but I'm sure Pete will get those details given enough time and practise.

Craig was a bit harsh wanting them disqualified. Jowita shouldn’t have put lifts in sure but it is just an entertainment show, he was acting like he’d phone the police on her or something 😂😂
Craig is actually right. All Pros knows that there're no lifts. He was meant to go below so her legs will still touch the floor.
@ebukaibenegbu6590 is absolutely right, although I don't mind which way they go as long as they are consistent, which they absolutely are not and Shirley is the worst of all for letter her heart (or something!) rule her judgement!

A lesson on how to dance a dance without dancing style it out however that being said I think this pairing is great and by good God there chemistry is off the charts never mind setting the dance in the rain where's the bedroom.

Loved this.i thought the song suited the dance well.great.hope pete stays in.they are under marking him in my opinion.

I think Pete is having a transformative experience. It's amazing to see someone discover that they like dancing and want to be better at it. Jowita is a very skilled teacher and creates good chemistry with her partners. I was super impressed with this rumba. Pete is the dark horse of the competition. I'm curious to see where this goes.

Well danced. Not great but still good! There was hip action and I liked to see that but okay the lift isn’t allowed but I wouldn’t call it an ‘illegal lift’ still adds great content to it!

It's a competition so I suppose it has to have rules but only a dancing super nerd cares about whether lifts are allowed or not. They fitted the dance and probably less than 1% of the viewing audience cared whether they were allowed or not.
Great chemistry and story telling , 2 illegal lifts , felt a bit bumpy, lacked hip action. felt like he walked and she danced around him. 4.5 (it would have been 5.5 without the illegal lifts).

Ohh i didn't like this at all, very stiff and jerky, it just didn't go anywhere, it looked very unnatural and plonky. Pete showed good footwork and used his hands well but sadly not at the same time, his hips only moved well when he was stationary. The lifts interrupted the flow too, Rumba is so hard and it's not that he's a bad dancer, it just didn't suit him at all, he'll be back on track next week for sure

The song choice didn't do it for me for a rumba.
I mean they did Well, but why this song for such a dance like rumba…, i dont like that song for rumba.
They did well to deliver rumba moves to that song. What nincompoop ever thought that the song would fit the dance, though? Probably the worst song choice for a dance in most of SCD history, and trust me there have been some clangers.
It was quite bad but there were two other big contenders just in this episode 😭

The chemistry CERTAINLY wasn’t a problem. Unfortunately the technique was though, there wasn’t a lot of it. There were 2 lifts so I have to mark them down for that, it’s a simple enough rule to follow so I’m not sure why Jowita didn’t. Not his best dance I’m afraid.
Maybe Jowita knows that in this show the judges scores aren't what keeps them in, it's much more important to appeal to the voting audience, and the viewers in general love to see lifts (and hip rolls 🤣) regardless of whether they belong to the dance style or not. As long as they never end up in the bottom two they're safe from the judges 😄
