I watched this show for the 1st time on BBC1 and loved it, then it was repeated, but a different version and now I’m waiting for season 3 on Prime. Great story, characters, costume, scenery and worth watching many times over.
Not sure what you mean by “a different version”. There are two alternative endings to Season Two Episode 10 (because the show was cancelled after two seasons then reinstated). The proper ending of Season 2 is a cliffhanger but they re-edited it and showed a version without that cliffhanger when they learned it hadn’t been renewed for a Season 3. The proper ending has been shown in all repeat runs. BBC have shown all six seasons and I’m sure they should all be available on Amazon Prime or anither streaming service.
Just finished this series.....absolutely unequaled...D Abbey pales in comparison...The social issues you embraced and educated your audience with were dealt with in such depth thru these well developed characters .......I remain impressed and so saddened to say good bye to them. Thank you for your extraordinary talents as individuals and for your entire collaborative production as my kudos go to all.

I have watch the films from Sweden. We lived in Australien in the 1970ths. Now, I love all the fantastic actors,, how well they present there parts of the real different sides of life. So much to recognice in happyness and diffyculties and importence of faith in religion. THANK YOU. I love the aussieaccent 😀
From America: It's been running on one of our local PBS stations here and its on the 2nd time through the series. We are hooked completely. Great story telling and wonderful costumes. Terrific characters. I was a teen during the 1950's & I can't tell you how I hated the undergarments we were forced to wear before Panty Hose came out. But on screen the costumes are gorgeous, and of course rich people are wearing them. Anyway, we love it. Oakland CA USA 2021

It's my fav drama of all time. I bought the DVD's so I can binge-watch whenever I want. Bevan is brilliant. The cast is beyond fabulous. Everyone is SO real. Downton is nothing compared to this. Well done everyone. I wish this was a book too.

So glad Amazon put this up on Prime Video. I really enjoyed all six seasons, though I wanted to throttle Regina much of the time. The gay love stories are especially well done. I enjoyed this so much and thank you for posting.
I loved this series. Now I want to know who was the dog in the series. Who is the beautiful B/W Border collie. name, age, who is the owner and breeder or pedigree. I fell in love with this dog. I thought that this dog should have been mentioned since he or she was in the series from beginning to end. I just watched this and noticed that the actors said the dog could be difficult . I just hoped that the dog Chili or Lucky could have been present to tell his side. All in all the series was great.
Can the BBC channel 2 please give us the very final episode which was removed on a recent Monday afternoon. This was to enable Sir Edward Davey make his party political speech at the Liberal Democratic Party Conference Recently. I am desperate to see some happy endings please!’ Alice Child

Hope you are able to watch the remaining seasons of APTCH. If they aren’t shown on public tv they are available to stream via Acorn TV, very cheaply.

Gino is my least favorite character on the show. He is too mean to sweet Anna.
I am loving this show, but I must say that Sarah's voice got more and more breathless as the series went on....she sounded better in the beginning.
Loved the show but the music of each episode was annoying as was Marta always being a boss
