The movie was an introduction for Boruto to make money Hinata was never programmed it was Sakura

Seeing him being cared for when he hurt his back was so touching. He was a jinchuriki and heals faster than others but this gesture was something Naruto had missed due to him having no family. I really love the way that Hinata finally took courage to say her feelings and finally getting a chance to get closer to him and Naruto noticing it in a romantic way this time.

TO EVERYONE SAYING THAT NARUTO SHOULD HAVE MARRIED SAKURA BECAUSE SHE IS MORE SIMILAR TO KUSHINA THAN HINATA IS, do you all remember during the war when minato said that being with naruto made him feel exactly like being with kushina? and not only that, just from watching the show we can tell naruto is exactly like his mom and that's why he even speaks like her (he inherited the dattebayo from her). well, if naruto is the person who is like kushina then to take minato's position, Hinata is the most suitable. SAKURA WOULD NEVER FIT IN MINATO'S POSITION CUZ SHE IS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE. just think about it, Hinata and minato have similar personalities. and this just proves that naruto and hinata is a very similar pair to minato and kushina.
To be honest, I would have liked naruto and sakura as a couple ONLY IF sakura would have been a little nicer to him. And just saying- i love naruhina but i agree that it could've been written way better.

For people saying that their relationship was rushed and Naruto started having feelings for hinata out if nowhere. Sad. I wasn’t a big fan of this ship, but it grew on me. I didn’t like how fast it progressed, I wish we got more moments from them before they got married, it was all too rushed. I was annoyed when they made Naruto work all day throughout the Boruto series. I want him to spend more time with his family, it’s wasted potential. I’ll never get over it. I still love the ship though, now. Lovely work by the way! 💕

They ignored the fact that these two have special connection in the whole series and that Naruto only realized that when he's about to lose Hinata & the first time he felt rejected by her. Watched this with my best friend last year- fast forward one year, she moved to another school and we’re distant now. Watching this again made me so emotional, realizing and remembering the beautiful and precious moments that was made with my best friend last year.
