What made this show work was the fact the parents weren't 2 dimensional characters and both Kurtwood Smith and debbie jo Rupp were extremely talented old school actors
I loved it when Eric's Dad would say....My Foot Up Your ASS!!.....That is how Dads actually were in the 60's/70's!! That's Exactly how they spoke to their sons All The Time!!
Even if those two are major in the show, let's not forget about Bob (and Midge) and other parents. Fact is: the show worked because it was well written and distributed for the purpose of a sitcom.
There will never be another show as awesome as this 70s Show. Absolutely love these dance scenes. Ive played this video on repeat just so I can watch Fez dancing. He and Jackie have the best chemistry on the dance floor. Disco music needs to make a comeback. Great music 👍👍👍

I saw Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta movie in Brooklyn NY where it was filmed. Back in 70s I believe. It was crazy the entire place was packed! Reruns of "That 70s Show" are still airing on cable. Wow, Gloria Gaynor (sp?)! They had so much fun on this show!
