I think the 25km/h max speed might be too, because of the european market. In Germany as example no E-Scooter is allowed to be faster than 25km/h. I'm just thinking about that a bit.
Nicely done Micah! Looks like a solid little commuter...does it have a decent IP rating? How about an app... love the shots you choose...360 camera I'm guessing....also the music is awesome :) Cheers from Canada :)
I just bought one last month. Due to bad weather conditions I only got to use it 2 times till now and the second time I used it I done 12km full speed 25km and had 51% battery left so yes if you use it at a pace or on D mode you will maybe get 30km out of it but doesn’t look possible on S mode. All aside 1 connection under the back tire to the battery is not protected and gets very dirty which may cause problems in the future but for the rest I’ve got no complaints so far
Yep, I have Pro 2, and with the unlocked firmware it reaches 31 km/h. Though, even there it feels like there is still some built-in limitation, because on slight decline is doesn't go any faster. And yes, where I live anything above 25 km/h puts it into a different vehicle category legally speaking, supposedly.
I honestly dont get why buying scooter with limitation and have to hack it, then have the warranty voided. I purchased another scooter that goes to 40kph for the same price, which even comes with front and rear suspension.. even turn signals and horns, much brighter headlight.
Yeah, battery figures are definitely "optimistic". My Pro 2 has a claim of 45 km, but actually these days, after half a year of use, it literally turns off under me (with 70 kg body weight) at the end of a 25 km ride. So I have to bring my charger to work. Although it's true that I'm using a speed-unlocked firmware, so it goes a few km/h faster than 25 (with the absolute max speed of 31 km/h, which quickly drops to 28-29 as the battery is getting depleted, ending up at 25-26 max around 40% battery).
How much power did u add to your custom firmware? I added only little bit more, and it goes 34kmh full charge, and about 50% battery left it goes 30kmh. My app says that i have been getting average 32,5km on one charge, and my body weight is 83kg, and i have 1100km on total. Check tire pressure, and maybe flash another custom firmware with less power (but more than stock). I can also send you firmware that i use if u want
There is ,u just have to buy it for upgrade, and extra battery pack for mods, my friend always carry extra 2 batts around 1.5 kilos each, he can ride around 50-60km
The biggest issue of this scooter is the lack of suspension and the small wheels, that translate in to flat wheels every 5 miles. They r a pain in the ass to fix. Not worth it .
Changed my m365pro to 10" wheels 6 months after I bought it. Left original inner tubes. Done about 1000km before any need to change anyting. After first flat tire went for Wanda2 10" wheels and amalibay inner tubes and gotta say, they are the best. The ride quality on uneven surfaces is very good and trust me, Warsaw has many of them.
I had an M365 and put hard tyres on it because of how hard it was to change a flat. Worst decision I ever made, ruined the ride and killed the battery life for some reason. I have since bought the Pro 2 and when I got my first flat I put a sealant in the tube and haven't had a flat again since. 2000km so far and not a single flat. The sealant in the tube is the way to go. It is in way better condition than my first scooter was after 2000km because the hard tyres cause a lot of vibration.
@@NerdENerd yes vibration kills the electronics. I tried the sealant but didn't last for me. I bought a used boosted board scooter and I love it. The downside is the weight and the range. But overall decent.
@@cyberlord64 I did this and battery life went to hell, reflashed stock firmware back. Wasnt worth it for the sake of an extra 8 or 10 kph. If you want better speed then buy a scooter designed to take the extra performance.,
Been eyeing these scooters for quite a while now but i want to ask anyone who has used it, if they get thumb fatigue from the throttle on long trips. Would have been nice if they offered a classic throttle like the one motorcycles have.
Here's hoping that Xiaomi will announce the Mi e-scooter Pro 3 (no Pro 3 yet) or Pro 4 with larger 10"inch tyres and a slightly e-scooter design revision for 2022! The Ninebot F series 2021 models (F20/F30/F40) is pretty much what the Xiaomi e-scooters needs to follow. 😁🛴

It is limited in the software because of regulation, a firmware hack can unlock the speed.
@@NerdENerd you can hack it but your warranty is gone if you do
its 20 in germany, plus 10% tolerance..^^
so maximum 22..^^ not 25 ^

where can you find one of these in the US? None of the major online retailers have stock

If i charge it one hour, it says it’s full. It’s new why is this? The led on the charger stays red.

Where did you buy the scooter from?
I also still have my m365. It's been awesome, worth every penny.
You had your M365 since 2018?
same man only 1k km but rides like a charm
I just bought one for my 11 year old daughter old scooter is 100-watt razor it sounds like she will have fun
Would like to have heard thoughts on the suspension/ride quality.
It has no suspension, so your back neck and knees will be hurting
The 25kph limit is in software for regulation reasons. It can be changed with a firmware hack.

you should check your tire pressures periodically. mine has 4300+ kms and still goes 35 with a single charge
I’d recommend some other scooter if 25 km is not enough for you maybe ninebot max g30

Best to get the Ninebot F30/F40 models instead since they use 10"inch tyres
Because I had a final at 20 when it should have been at 25 ??

Compare with Segway Ninebot F40 please
