    Awesome tractor! Back in July I bought myself a used 2004 John Deere X575 4x4 and it had 490 hours on it when I got it. It did not have a front pto kit so I decided to add the kit to it. Other than that it is a awesome tractor to mow the yard with.

    I have a 5095M that I use mostly for bush hog work and haying. It’s a great tractor. I do wish it had the command arm my two 6430 tractors both have that and it so nice to have your controls at your fingertips.

      I'm just now looking at JD. I've been looking at the Massey Furguson 4700 series. My question is what's the difference in the JD E series, M series, & R series?

    • @cosminprescura1957
      @cosminprescura1957 3 года назад

      @@midgebarker4022 The E series is more of an economic option, basic but it does the job, it it better for the easy jobs around the farm, the M is more like the standart, and the R is the most expensive one, with all the stuff on it.

    Thanks For This Video!! I ended up just ordering a 5115R, its defiantly the most I have ever spent on equipment. But seeing the dealer didn't have one in stock your videos helped me in determining options etc etc. Hopefully I can do the same and make some videos once I get it. There is really very little information out there on theses, which is kind of funny because in Europe they had a 5r before this generation with a powerQuad.

    What is the biggest round or square baler that JD makes for it? Debating a 5100M 3-4 yrs old vs 2 yr old 5090 R as cost are similar. Both with cab, loader and three rear remotes. But the 85vs 77 PTO is why I am wondering on the hay baler models.

    Nice tractor but is it too high tech for the common old school operator for do-it yourself maintenance? I am used to doing my own maintenance on older tractors.

    what type of hydraulic system it has , the open center or the PFC ( pressure flow compensation , old school saying , Closed Center ) ?

    • @RMSpeltzFarm
      @RMSpeltzFarm 5 лет назад

      5090RTractor. Engine Power: 90 ...... Hydraulic system type, Standard: Open Center
      But you can get an Optional: Pressure-and-Flow Compensated (PFC) System. Hydraulic pump

      @@RMSpeltzFarm i think why john Deere has the PFC system as an option is reguest from hay farmer in Europe . My 2130 ( 70 horsepower )is a 1970's tractor and it came standard with PFC system or closed center system

      I have ran the baler on it and worked great, dislikes are many yet. The new smell really has not worn off yet to have any big issues. The only thing that is different is really getting use to the feel of the tranny, its really nice to have breaking causing clutch release but I find still occasionally clutch out of habit lol
