I've always adored Back to Black - it was Gold Knight that somehow didn't work on my skin. Glad to here this one's a winner Steven. Victor is right about the honey accord. Beeswax can go many different ways so I'm relieved it's not an animalic bomb.

I got my discovery set in! My favorites so far are intimus, Absolutio, and Virtus. The presentation, and performance are top notch. To anyone considering the discovery set from Navitus I definitely recommend it.

I loved original hugo boss now called hugo boss one, was first aftershave I bought in 1985 age 12 lol in boarding school along with kouros. In 2019 I thought I'd take a stroll down memory lane and bought the new version even though reformulated and not as pontent as I remember but still smelled ok. Wore it first time and got insulated lol tried 4 more times then gave up and gave it to her farther. She hated the honey there and now I avoid anything honey lol
Next week, for my New Year's resolution, is an epic sample haul, including Zoologist which I've not tried but see only rave reviews. I'm into animalic/"skanky" so any recommendations from Zoologist? Preferably leaning towards masculine even though they may be unisex?
When I first got my sample I have to admit I was trigger happy. This is not a fragrance that can be over sprayed or it will be cloying. Less is more with this one. One spray to the back of my neck and I was in a bubble of honey heaven all day.

From what I was reading you can wear it all year just be careful on hotter days where it at night.

This one is much thicker, and Mamluk has oud in the base that doesn't allow the fragrance to get too sweet.
