You are now, Officially, the Coolest Step-Mum Ever. Everything turned out fantastic and the kids had fun. Winning! - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi
@@EmilySnee You came up with an idea for you lot to play with, they got to design their clothing, they got to fuss with the machine and you while watching the make, and now you can storm the Veg Market Stalls in match-y match-y outfits. Total. Win. Take a victor lap...
This was absolutely delightful!! What adorable kids. I would've loved to have done something like this as a kid, I'm sure they'll look back incredibly fondly on this.
Honestly that crop top is A Look and you unironically look amazing in it. This was really cute and you all look like models in those reveals. The power in that twirl! Amazing!
Tiny moment to note, but in your flare pattern where you slashed the extra from the back outline to fold in to make the front piece -- genius! I tend to cut along the entire discrepancy leaving only an inch or so to hinge on, and its neither convenient nor sturdy. Bravo!
Do you have to wait for them to ask? Could you ask them if they'd like you to make them something and if so what? Or do what Emily did and take a cue from their drawings or other interests and make an offer?
Obviously I don't know what you like to make, but it doesn't have to be clothes, it could be storage boxes or bags for favourite toys, a cuddly quilt or cushion to take in the car or snuggle on the sofa (I'm biased, I'm a quilt maker!) - I've even seen people make hanging organisers for anything from Barbies to cars. I've made bags for gaming dice, rolls for tiny paintbrushes for people who paint gaming figures, laptop cases etc - although to be fair they were all for adults 🤣
4:12 is the more adorable moment when the arm goes over your shoulder. My heart melted.
Isn’t it?! They’re so sweet! 😭

Depending on how much fabric from the kiddywinks clothes I'm sure little pouch bags are a much needed accessory, you need them to put stuff in...
Ooh, that’s a great suggestion! I love it!
That is a wonderful idea, unless they want clothes for their stuffies made from the scraps
Amazing!! Love all the outfits. My heart melted when you were sewing with the girls ❤
Thank you! 😊 it was a lot of fun - even if it was slightly more chaotic
MAHVELOUS, Darling!
It all turned out so lovely and you all look so good ❤
This is so adorable! (And I love the skull pin cushion, too)
I know - and I love that she took that skull pincushion with her to the twins home to do the sewing there 😁
@@rachelsnee8926 Gotta have the right tools!
Y’all look so adorable together! Fabulous clothes. So inspiring! ❤
Thank you so much!!
Fantastic outfits, Bunny outfit so cute. The skull dress is just astounding and your bat trousers really set off your top. Looked like so much fun.
Yay, thank you! I’m so happy with how they turned out and the bat trousers are SO COMFY!
The bat trousers are exactly the same style as the zebra print velvet flares I made for her when she was around these girls age 😂
@@rachelsnee8926 Hi Rachel, that is fantastic. They came out so well.
I’ve the hair color!! And what lovely ideas!! I also pattern using extant clothing.
All 3 outfits look amazing! I love the skull fabric.
Isn’t the skull fabric fun? So glad I got to use it!
what a delight. you can tell how excited the kids are about their garments (both making and wearing them)!!
And, so immensely satisfying and uplifting to watch!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 😁
@@EmilySnee 😀
Phenomenal effort by everyone! You look fabulous all of you xx
Thank you so much!!
Cute! ❤
I'm glad it wasn't me operating that pedal, because I would have turned the sewing machine into a fabric-eating monster 🤣
How cute❤
Wonderful!
Many thanks!
Awww I wish my favorite tiny humans asked me to make stuff.
