In this video im doing a screen replacement on a Oppo AX5s
But this is the same for the A5s and the A7 AX7, they are the same display

My friend, you are a lifesaver, I followed the steps to disassemble my phone and I unplugged and replugged the screen cable and battery cable and it turned on!! I am so relieved right now. Good on you champ good vid

Hi there, I've been using your video as a guide to install a screen for my Oppo AX5s and I've got to 6:45 in your video, up to the point where you test the new screen before installing it. I have two replacement screens but I can't get either of them to display anything when I test them. Is there anything specific I need to do to get one of these screens to display something?

no there is no trick to make them display.
Have the battery disconnect
connect up new screen
plug in battery and turn on
it should display

I would suspect possible a faulty bew display
if I remember correctly the screen only has one connector

Hi do lose the date if we just replace screen without remove the bettery. I just want turn on the phone and temperately with now screen without. Replace it property

You would keep the date and time but would risk damaging the LCD
If you change the display with the battery connected
