xCro 007x most definitely would have been less but most the times people do this it’s because they don’t have the money to buy the M upfront , like me for instance I bought a used 2014 550 back in late 2017 for 24K and converted it to a 2016 M5 over time
vrrooom yea I know but it’s crazy because when I got my 550i it was 3 years old with 16K miles clean title for 24K so I just bought it cash @ that time the m5 was over 40 K with milage but a year ago I found a guy parting out his m5 because he couldn’t pay for it anymore so I got all the oem parts I only didn’t take the engine because it had more then mine & I didn’t know if it could fit
@@fredjames8835 what you did was make a replica m5 or rep m5 for short. Even with the engine installed it still wont be an m5. Just a 550 with the m5 kit. Dont get me wrong its still a great car and i wouldn't say no to a rep m5 550i. Your car is also 2014 not 2016 even though you may have used the parts from 2016 car. Just letting you know I'm not shitting on you, I bet the car looks great!
I agree. A tint strip would've been fine, banner was too much though. Agree as well on the air suspension side of things, some cars don't look right slammed. All that being said never build a car for others approval and at the end of the day it is their money and they can spend it however they like.

This was my most favorite car that I ever owned and sold it 6 years ago to the luckiest 21 year old kid.. it was so well taken care of.. and was a manual transmission 4 door in white. New touchscreen head unit with car apple play.. all new focal speakers and new shallow subs under the seats.. a 6 channel amp, the carbs were freshly cleaned, new struts all around and pilot sport 4s. It sold for $12k only with 90,000 miles on it. It was chipped with dual cone intake.. 400hp on the Dyno.. ugh why did I ever sell it:(
Loved this build but I personally would've gone for coils instead of bags and the m-sport style wheel. Other than that it's exactly what i will do to mine soon!

I would’ve just bought a minorly used F80 M3 instead. 1) nearly same price as the 335 with all the work done 2) still better looking 3) quicker 4) highly respected 5) hold‘s a much higher value over the years.
in what world can you get a used m3 for the same price as this build? You can find F30s for like 20k or less this was probably a total cost of 30k and thats being generous. F80s still going for 50 and even 60k under 100,000 km

The curve on any M3 is fucked they rarely stay at the bottom prices tend to stay high barring any mechanical issues Source: owned a 335i used recently upgraded to m2 competition

I disagree. I personally find it to be more practical-I don’t personally own a car but I will soon and hearing the bumber scrape against a speed bump would just grind my ears. I’d personally prefer air suspension over low coilovers since it’s much more versatile; you can keep it higher when you need it high, and then slam it for those nice still photos
