I've been binging watching your videos for the past few days and I love how optimistic you are. You are super underrated!
Appreciate the vote of confidence. .I'm glad you like the videos
Elle Harris he does have a great personality.
Exactly what I said after watching. His vibe is upbeat and positive !
Such a happy corner of the Internet.
He always points out the great points.. I love that about him
Been living in Astoria for years - it has been New York City’s hidden gems to the locals. This is where those of us who actually grew up in the boroughs would prefer to live, when we move out of our parents. It feels more like a neighborhood than anywhere in Manhattan yet is actually affordable and there’s authentic food from family owned business with cultures from around the world. Unfortunately the neighborhood has started to become gentrified. To those non New Yorkers that plan to move here support local businesses and the community. Also any non locals planning on moving here please make sure to negotiate rent and don’t agree to price gauging - otherwise as non locals continue to move here the prices will raise and it’ll become another Manhattan.
Great point it is so crazy how this neighborhood remains underpriced. Same commute to midtown as the upper east side.
Stephanie K Couldn’t have said it better.
Same here love my apartment right in the heart of Astoria close to everything.
@@CashJordan The rents may be underpriced but they are high and I know they are lower than other places. There was a formula that was used for renting... one's rent should be able to be paid by one week of one's paycheck and believe it or not that was how we did it. ( if you wanted to live alone. one got roommates for a larger place and or to live with your friends )
100% agree. I grew up in a different area of queens and decided to move to Astoria after college. It was a great few years and would do it all over again. It is sad tho how gentrified it is becoming with the prices going higher and higher. I see it myself now in different parts of Queens as well such as Ridgewood which never would have been considered a place for non-locals but now is.
This channel is going to blow up! Quality content as usual and a great find!
Appreciate that so much. Thank you!
If he is hitting my suggested, he is on his way.
I can't wait for you to blow up so I can legitimately say that I've been a fan since before 1k subs.
Appreciate it my friend. If that does happen it wouldn't have been possible without your help
Me too!
me too!
I love the walks through the neighborhoods almost as much as seeing the actual apartments! You really give a good feel for the vibe of these areas! That monster truck in the driveway was hilarious! Gorgeous space!!
Lol that is queens in a nutshell that oversized truck
Awesome video. Do you think you could pepper in a few more Astoria apartments here and there? Or apartments with shorter commutes to the city in case people don’t necessarily have the manhattan budget.
I would love to do more of these absolutely. It's tough as most of the apartments I am obligated to rent are in Manhattan ☹️
Gorgeous apartment! The smallest room would even be great to use as a home office. Someone could rent both rooms and have their own bathroom for less than the price of a studio in the city! ❤️
Honestly this one blew me away
@@CashJordan Agree!
I like how you check out the neighborhood, showing the grocery stores, and subway stations. That stuff is important.
If I keep watching these, I'm going to move to New York.
I’m ok with that 😂
Yes! Cash! Yes! Absolutely love your Manhattan tours, but ecstatic to see other Burroughs/neighborhoods 😊😊 Great job as always!
Appreciate that this apartment was awesome!
All my friends grew up and still live in Astoria. That neighborhood is like my second home. 🔥🔥
Awesome glad I was able to get out and make this one for people who know how cool the area is
Yeah love the videos .you have a lot of authenticity I enjoy watching
Hi there i appreciate the support!
In the words of Queens native Cleo MacDowell....”You hit the jackpot baby!”
Awesome listing Cash!
Best apartment for the money!
Clean and bright!❤️
Yeah I really liked this one! Glad you did too😁
I’m sitting here thinking “this better not be the same Queens from Coming to America” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Curly Hijabi 😂😂😂 “8507 Queens Boulevard!”
I’m surprised that you’ve never mentioned Astoria before. It’s been very popular and low key trendy (for those of us familiar with all 5 boroughs) for almost 2 decades now. Astoria is great if you work in midtown. The commute to Times Square or Grand Central from Astoria is so fast. My coworkers all get to work as quickly as I do or quicker from Harlem, and im In Manhattan (I have a 25 minute commute door to door).
It's a solid choice for anyone who wants to save money and not live in the styx
You should mention the recessed lighting in the ceilings for many of these apts. I would never have a roommate again.
Good point!
This is a great apartment for a family.
You filmed my street! I’m on 34th and 30th, Astoria brings more of a relaxed borderline family vibe especially near astoria park. If you drive parking is difficult to find but once you figure out peoples patterns it’s not bad, just watch out for the constant parking restrictions due to the filming by Kaufman studios. Restaurants are amazing very broad selection on each avenue. Highly recommend especially those that move to the city. Rent is def cheaper and you’ll find an abundance of grocery stores.
What are your 2 favorite restaurants? Any parking garages?
Haha awesome glad this was close to home!
Dream Chaser57 sevva Indian on 34th and leng Thai on broadway!
@@albertohuerta Love Thai food. Will be sure to visit next time I am in NYC
Dream Chaser57 no parking garages. You’ll find parking just takes time driving down the one way streets. If you’re willing to pay the meters there’s enough parking on the avenues themselves but carry 1 hour limits. Meters on streets 2 hour limits.
I like this apartment a lot. If there's a possibility of have NO ROOMMATES, I'd have the space to add a home office, a formal den and a spare bedroom. I'd use the front area for a bigger dining room/casual reading/relaxation nook and add an island for the kitchen. Endless opportunities
That would be hot
I’m loving the back to back content ! Keep up the great work !
Sweet I was afraid people would get fatigue 😲😲
@@CashJordan We are quarantined😢. You could multiple videos a day and I would love it
You have a pretty name
Thank you !!
Love this, I was thinking a small family, each kiddo with their own room. Maybe the smaller room by the master could be a baby room or den 🤷♀️. Also in the kitchen, a little kitchen island could fit adjacent to a kitchen table near the window. A room screen or two to divide space in that huge living room..Great 👍 Zip code is still awesome!
Yeah that's a great idea! Appreciate your comment thank you
Great upgraded apt. for the money. Good layout, with lots of natural light.
I second the idea of adding a small kitchen island, with enclosed drawers and storage underneath. Plus, you could add two or three tall stools around the island to make it an informal table for any meal.
And Cash, please mention in your videos whether each of the apts. you show us has either elevator access or is a walk-up -- to the 4th or 5th floor, for example! 😃
Wow, the closet in the biggest bedroom is amazing!! The bathrooms look great, Love all the windows. I hope you got this now filled.
Now this is something I'd live in. Queens seems like a better living situation than Manhattan.
Queens is much more spacious!
Love, love, love!!! I could actually see myself in an apartment like this with my children!
Nice!!!
This apartment is beautiful 👍🏻 I love the floor plan (especially the rooms past the kitchen (private and more quiet), the big closest, bathrooms, the appliances are nice BUT (I guess I’m hard to please) I need more cabinets and more counter space, and a dining area because eating or drinking in the living room is a big NO, NO for me. I don’t even allow drinking water on the sofa. Maybe I’m the problem 🤷🏻♂️ Anyways, I like your enthusiasm with every showing 🤙🏻
👍🙏 Thank you I'm glad this was fun to watch
I'm a native New Yorker, born and raised in Queens. Thanks for coming to my borough! I work in several different locations around the city and one of them is on 30th Ave in Astoria! That was a great apartment!
Nice. Glad this one was close to home!
Astoria is the great hidden gem of NYC! Amazing apartments, great Greek food, and a 25 minute commute to midtown. I will live in Astoria as long as I live in NYC!
💯👍
Another great tour as always!
Appreciate that hope you liked seeing a different neighborhood!
I love queens im a queens girl the best years of my life were spent here. Great for kids. Even though our apartment wasn’t as big you can still like comfortably in a room half the size. Also they have such good schools if you dig a little bit. Don’t go for your zoned school if you don’t want to look into other schools.
Hey thanks for your feedback on the schools that’s super helpful for anyone looking at apartments here who has kids
Love your videos, keep up the great work!! I‘m not planning to move to NY, I just watch these for fun, and I love how frequently you post.
Really interested in what it’s like to live in different neighborhoods, so I’d be happy to watch more videos like this :)
Cool I appreciate it and I was afraid people might be getting video fatigue
Beautiful apartment. I love the flooring, grey walls and the white trim/doors etc.
Appreciate that! Glad its a good one!!
Thank you so much for showing a place that would suit a family. This apartment has so many options, even for a family with 3 kids. This looks like a lovely, livable space.
Awesome glad this one lived up to your request!
I walked those streets everyday. I miss NYC. But still, Astoria will be in my heart forever.
Yeah its a great neighborhood
You can easily put a mobile island in the kitchen that can be pushed back to the wall across the sink. There's definitely a room for a dinette by the kitchen window and a big enough living room for a small sectional sofa and big tv. A little disappointing that the other bathroom is not close to the other two rooms. But, great apartment. The best I've seen in your channel. I would get 1 roommate and use the other bedrooms as walk-in closet/office.
Nice idea that would really open up the space
Thanks for all the great vids. I really look forward to watching them!
Appreciate the feedback!
I discovered your channel because my son lives in Manhattan and I just love to see the apartment tours in his area-you've become my daily addiction...lol
Sounds good glad these are fun to watch!
I love this channel. Quality and information is great. Thanks. I would love to see more apartments in queens too.
Would love to do more tours of queens!
Astoria is such a great area. My cousin lives in Astoria and she loves it. It’s also grown so much. Those buildings by Queensboro Plaza went up super quick. So many subway options in that area as well E, M, R and the 7. Oh and the apartment you showed is great. Best one so far.
Yeah man it's great here!
How many lettered 🚆 subway lines does NYC has? 😂
Anyone living in a apartment
Can add small cabinets over doors and high up on the walls for storage
And you can use a clear shoe holder that hangs on doors through the whole apartment for storage. On bathroom door, closet doors, entry door, those clear shoe storage hangers can hold so much stuff
Ohh nice idea
Good Job Cash! This was the best apt for the money that you’ve shown. 4 roommates can live close to Manhattan in a nice neighborhood for less than 1k per month. My only complaint is the kitchen. It’s beautiful, but not enough cabinet space for 4 people. They would definitely have to get some additional storage and counter space options.
Hey that's great appreciate your feedback!
This, by far is the best apartment you’ve posted on your channel!
Appreciate the feedback!
Yes this is what I’m talking about, spacious, clean, attention to detail paid in full. A little overpriced, nothing that 3 roommates cant help with. Love it great video as usual.
Nice glad I got you with this one ☝️
I loved living in Astoria. Very convenient commute to Manhattan and a nice homey feel. Also great Greek food!
This is a very nice apartment! Totally worth the price. The floors are gorgeous, and the bathrooms are so nice. It looks like a nice neighborhood as well.
Yeah the neighborhood is really good. Under-rated
Astoria is really underrated. I lived off of the 30th Ave stop and loved it, never felt like I had to leave to have fun or get great food. The only reason I left Astoria is because I changed cities. Had I stayed in NYC would have been in Astoria for as long as possible.
Ahh too bad. That’s a good point about the neighborhood its very sustainable
Love Astoria! Prices went up a lot in the last 10 years but because it’s such a lovely neighborhood, people are moving in.
Its underrated but cause its queens it will never be as expensive as manhattan, or even the upper east side
This is my favorite apartment so far on the channel. Like I said before you get more for your money in the other boroughs and people don’t know that they always wanna be in the city . Can’t wait till you do some Brooklyn apartments
Thank yoU!
Best I've seen u review so far, it was gorgeous!
Appreciate it 🙏💯
So happy to see you find a discovery like this. Would love to see more Queens apartments.
You got it Ill try my best
Love these videos! For me Astoria would be the ticket! I don't really care about the bar scene, so being downtown is not important. I'd rather have the space, lower rent and just jump on the train if I want to go downtown. I'd love to see more in Queens!
Beth Hughes Long Island City also has a lot of nice apartments
@@danasiab I'd like to see some there too then. Thanks so much Danasia for the info!
yeah Astoria is the deal
I lived here for 10 years and grew up there and I just moved to the Bronx last year because it’s become gentrified and it’s so sad that rent has gone up so much
Sad to hear. Hear great things about the Bronx!
Okay, I watched. This apartment is really spacious and well thought out. It's in a great neighborhood. SOL dance studio is off the N train, (takr some belly fancing classes when the pandemic is over)! A lot of eateries and local shops are there, the N transfers to the F, R, and others at Penn station...you have so many options. This is a great find. Best wishes on the sale.
Glad you liked it!! Yes great neighborhood!
@@CashJordan I did enjoy it and please excuse the typos LOL
🙌🏻washer and dryer 🙌🏻this is great 👍. I wish I will be able to go see this place with my friends and rent🥰
Glad you liked this one yes it was definitely nice to see it in person
Just recently started watching your videos! I live in upstate New York and I thought our rent was high! NYC is crazy! You should do a ‘What can you get Upstate’ series 😂🤷🏼♂️
Hah I'd love to do that. Would be really fun
Great apartment! They did a nice job on the renovations
Yeah this one was awesome!
This apartment is amazing. I'm sure it got snatched up real quick.
Yeah I think so
@@CashJordan darn! Something like that doesn't seem to pop up often.
Wow........ clean,, renovated, spacious, and affordable for 4 roommates or 3 with room for a den,, lots of possibilities,, and those bathrooms!
Yes this one was a dream!
Another stellar video! I like the little things like flipping the keys around before entering, I do the same thing lol! Just curious do you make your music too?
Appreciate that I don't make the music, it's lakey inspired
"Plenty of counter space" lmaoooo
I LOVE THE FLOWERING TREES!!! WOW!!!
Love this series... love this apartment
Glad this was a winner!
This apartment is AMAZING!!
👍
My family and I have been living in Queens for 20+ years and it's becoming much more gentrified.. But Queens really is the best borough in NYC don't even @ me :)
Yep queens very affordable 👍
WOW! This might be one of my favorite one of your finds yet. You might be changing my mind on outer boroughs....👀
Lol we will see, the next apt is back in Manhattan so....
Love everything about this apartment!!! There are huge apartments in the Bronx(especially around grand concourse) and along riverside in Harlem
Glad to hear!
I shared this one with my son. I'm trying to convince him to break the lease, he has one year left on his apartment in Bushwick. He shares with one roommate and they have another friend who is looking for an apartment. This one would be perfect because it would have a guest room for me 😊. Evan's saying he would lose so much money if he breaks his lease 😩. I LOVE this one!
Haha awesome. Yes get him out of bushwick.
I like the kitchen with the dish washer there. The wood floors are so nice.
What a gorgeous apartment 😍😍
👍
That was a beautiful apartment !
Space !! ❤️
Yes 👍
@@CashJordan
If there is one thing you learn quickly from watching videos about New York City apartments, is the sheer lack of space MOST of the time...🤪😜
I want to live there now. Love your videos!
That's possible - it's for rent
The only way I would live with three other people is if they were my wife and children.
Well, you'd be comfortable here if you had to live in NYC
Same I'm not a roommate person.
@@CashJordan Live in Chicago on South Lake Shore .
One of the most prestigious areas in the city.
Pay $250 less per month and my apartment is larger and faces the lake.
My building has a gym pool parking all inclusive.
I love these videos! I live in Williamsburg and it makes me want to move in here 😍
Your neighborhood is more popular 👍
I'm loving the videos of the other boroughs! Definitely making the move soon, just trying to decide which neighborhood is best for me
Awesome I hope these are helpful. Astoria is great if you want to save money
I'm excited that you came to Queens! I haven't even watched the video yet LOL I live in Queens and though I was born in Manhattan, Queens is more culturally eclectic, and affordable. My current apartment in Queens is huge and near multiple modes of transportation.
Yes this one is awesome I was so excited to tour it...hope you like the video!
Yes, a sofa and flat screen TV. Woul look nice.
I love your content! Keep it up!
Thank yoU!
That apartment was amazing.
Yes!
That’s a very beautiful apartment
There are those who would live in a closet just to be in Manhattan despite the cost, but this apartment, being an easy commute into the city, is a better choice for most of us. It's a walk-up :-( but not too many floors up, and you have the option of sharing the rent with three others. To alleviate the small counter space in the kitchen you could have a "rolling island" that could be wheeled into a corner when not in use. I assume each bedroom would need a window a/c unit, so the sound of other buildings' a/cs would be drowned out. The washer/dryer is a real plus. Noting the apparent TV cable, that largest bedroom is probably considered the "master". Aside from the stairs, this apartment seems to check all the boxes.
Glad you like this one Bob 👍
I've been loving the videos. I'm moving to NYC at some point in the next few months and I was wondering how the COVID-19 outbreak has affected the process of apartment hunting. What has changed about how you search/sign on an apartment?
FINALLY Queens!
Yep!
You are great at evaluating properties.
Appreciate that!
Wow!! I love this apartment!! Spacious with an in unit washer/dryer. I see why people say that you get more for your money in the outer boroughs. Astoria Queens is definitely on the list. I would love to know how you managed to get out of Manhattan in spite of the lockdown. Until the next video. Stay safe!!😃❤️
Glad this one made the list!!
Hi Jeannine, people can get out of their apartments and out of their boroughs if they need to travel for essentials or are essential workers (many people who live in one borough work in the other and still commute). While many real-estate brokers don't consider themselves essential workers and cannot show apartments now, there are others who find that the need for their services remains, with some adjustments (like, I guess, videos of apartment 'walk-through'). Only thing I'd add is that I wish Cash did wear a face covering, which is required in NYC from everyone when in public, including from essential workers ... May all stay healthy and safe.
For this price! Unreal 🤩
Yeah this is a good one!
Beautiful. I went on a dinner date to Astoria a few years ago. A cool sushi place. I don't remember the name, but the block with restaurants had a nice Red Bank feeling to it. (if I remember correctly) Very fast to get to Manhattan...
Yep it's a great neighborhood!!
This is right around the corner from me. I cannot believe how much rent has increased since I moved here years ago. Unless you want roommates or you share bills with lots of family it is impossible for a single person to stay here now. Even one bedrooms are insanely priced here.
Nice glad this one was close to home
Great apartment, a kitchen island with a couple of stools would have great. Extra seating and storage!
Appreciate the feedback!
So I live in New Zealand and I came across your channel and I really really like it.
Awesome. 🥝 you have a nice country I dont care what Australians say
@@CashJordan Thank you.
Watching from London. Loving some of these apartments (or flats as we call them).
Flats! Love the term, even if its not a term of endearment 😂
you are good at showing underrated properties
Appreciate that thank! I’m happy the videos are fun to watch 👍
I live 100 yds from my job down a tree-lined street in a 3bed, 2bth, 1,600 sq ft. house. The school is just around the corner, the community pool two blocks away. Never would I leave this for anywhere in NYC.
Wow thats awesome. Sounds convenient and Comfortable!
It's nice, the commute would most likely take about 30 to 45 minutes depending on the subway traffic to get to Midtown. This would be a great opportunity to have four different adults contributing to the rent. I'm assuming you went up one flight of stairs, that's not that bad and you have washer and dryer on the premise.
Yep. Under 1,000 per month for each room mate, and the rooms are large with good views!
givememore4free I live in Astoria (bottom half) and used to work right next to grand central. It took me 20 minutes door to door!
19 yrs in astoria. I love it so much
Great neighborhood
This is a great apartment, I love it!
👍 glad to hear
Amazing apartment!
Yeah this one is something else for sure
This was nice. The views are terrible, but you can't have everything. Good video.
Glad you liked the video!
Now this is the one

finally one that looks big enough like monica and rachels !
Yep!
What a great apartment! I live in LIC and this is a steal...
Appreciate your feedback! Yes this one was a really good value
I love this place ! You really get a bang for your buck ! Could you please show a duplex apartment ? Also something in Williamsburg, Brooklyn 😊 ty!
I'd love too thank you for the suggestion
The best apt I've seen posted ever ,loved Astoria im a queens kinda guy last place i lived was Forrest Park. Manhattan is just way too high
Niceeee
Love Astoria! Moving back to Astoria from Chelsea, Manhattan. Time to have more space as I grow up. Haha
Nice i’m working on another astoria vid as we speak
