@@azulk955 No, the shows that won are garbage. Stephen Colbert's been embarrassing ever since he took over the late show. He and most talk shows spent 4 years doing the same tired "Trump bad" routine that distanced everyone from him.
No matter what you think of Trump, hearing a talk show host do that same lame impression over and over and over and repeat the same shit people were trying to escape from when watching the show was just bad TV. No one wanted that garbage.
And now that Trump isn't president, he's hardly gotten any better.
Frankly, I'm amazed he managed to stay on air. Conan was far more deserving of an award and didn't get it.

@@azulk955 no, Colbert’s show took a lot of shortcuts during Covid and was one of the last to go back to the studio. I think this award was far more about rewarding the show’s commitment to neoliberalism and mainstream leftist politics. i think we can all agree Conan definitely shines in moments like this, and remotes (especially with Jordan and Sona), his late night interviews and antics are still funny though. i feel like if he made an office-esque “mockumentary” tv show stylized like his remotes it would be a hit. maybe his hbo show will feature more of that. Conan definitely isn’t just another late night comedian, he’s something special with tons of talent and 30 years to show it

Conan will go down in history as the difinitive greatest late show host of all time and its not even close. He has one of the biggest impacts on the entertainment industry that inspired countless new people to become comedy mega stars of their own. His talent is unmatched and he is more genuine, caring, and lovable than any other person to ever host a late show. He is the rightful KING OF LATE NIGHT

Ppl I think are projecting their sadness and drama on to conan. Sure Conan is prolly bummed about Norm but what he's doing here is just being himself and not some big rebellion against the system or something. This could literally pass as one of his remotes lol

Conan going bonkers and saluting the random executive that no one cares about and riling up a standing ovation is next level comedy gold.
