A singer doesn't have to smile all the time. Even on stage. Imagine backstage, Ailee may be facing hardships and problems of her own. To quote what Nana said in Roommate (when she confessed to Hong Soohyun) saying that, "It's just so hard to put up a smile on stage and hide your true feelings. Even if I'm tired, I can't show it..." Those words hit me really hardd. One thing that we always forget is that these singers or idols are actually humans too. They have their feelings and emotions. Rather than telling then to put up a brave front, what we fans have to do is to accept whatever they do. Stay strong Ailee!
When I started watching this performance,I feel that Ailee is either tired or sad._. She normally would smile in almost all her performances..>< hope that she is fine! Fightinggg
poor thing looks so tired/distracted but despite this she still managed to give an amazing vocal performance. she's truly one of the best vocalists out there o.o

man THIS is great singing on music shows. I miss these days, no one in the 4th gen sings live on music shows. and ailee is noticeably tired here. in 2014 she lost a lot of weight to the point she almost felt like fainting on stage, and she still sang well. i miss old kpop
To me she looks like she's angry lol. Like she had an argument or something and now channeling her anger through this performance lol. I enjoyed it though. Hope she resolves what ever the problem is.
I get that she was probably trained or told that she had to control her facial expressions to match the music or concept or whatever. But, she just looks like she's angry, I see the slips of the smiles at times lololol KEEP SMILING AILEE!!
I don't know if she's like dealing with something right now or is just really tired but I hope she gets enough rest and eat well. She's been doing a lot of shows and events on and off screen. I hope you rest well and eat your 고기! 잘 쉬세요 언니!
I bet she's not an idol skilled, I bet she only wants sing, and loves sing. god she looks so annoyed for what she has to do, dancing, acting and stuffs. sometimes seems like is a robot without expression... but her one expressive voice heals everything, and thats makes her an Idol, I like Her (y)
