I actually got her from an abyssal shard not too long ago. Honestly seeing how the limiteds will eventually be added to shops/p2w eggs later AND we can still get the ascension rewards on the rerun banner, I regret spending for vespa/Palae (not their skins tho) and didn't do the same with kurarith who's sitting at 9* waiting for the rerun if I decide to make the full abyssal dream happen. Like you said: probsbly a better choice to use those gems on magic guides instead.
I only opened up like 4 so far but haven't had luck with the vespa abyssal egg. I skipped Kura just cause I offloaded my gems into evosoul/magic guide/talent pearls and that crap drains you in seconds lol.
I'm currently playing on Server 600, and we don't have that event, instead we have Limited Time Event Pact Summon where we choose a rate up banner. With Octasia being the only Abyssal and SynderHelden the only Draconic. Wonder if we will get the Vespa rate up banner
@puppeterlordofthemasks6230 Vespa. Palaeophis. Kurarith. But palaeophis/kurarith are not in regular summon pool like Vespa yet. Palae is most likely end of this month
Power wise mythic magic guides add so much but they really expensive especially if you have a competitive misty mines bracket and can't get any passively from there. Evosoul you get the summons passively everywhere and can always buy some mythic chests here and there. For me, Ive always used gems on magic guides compared to evo souls since its your end game option.
It already happened months ago for most countries so Im not sure if or when any countries still waiting will have it available. I know players have downloaded the APK and then used the third party website to make purchases for the game.

Got super lucky and got a shiny the day she was available with devil cores.
Ugh..... shiny! Lucky. I have some monsters I'm on my 9th awakening reset and still can't get their shiny haha

You will they go through a rotation on new servers after a certain amount of weeks then you join the normal event rotation
I win vespa today on regular summons,i didnt know she was limited,i started a few days ago the game,so i dont know how many where limited
