One day, Henry was watching his favorite cartoon show on television Mutant Max! when suddenly a strange glitch appeared on the screen.
At first, he thought it was just a temporary technical issue, but the glitch started to spread rapidly across the screen, and before he knew it, it had engulfed the entire show.
As the glitch continued to spread, Horrid Henry's father, who was in charge of the TV remote, was nowhere to be found. In his absence, the glitch infected everything in its path, including Henry himself.
Despite Ralph's efforts to warn him of the danger, Henry remained transfixed by the screen, watching as the glitch consumed him and his surroundings. Eventually, Ralph tried to help him.
As the only survivor, Ralph was left to fend for himself, along with Fluffy the cat and Fang the hamster. They managed to escape the contaminated area and find safety elsewhere, but Ralph couldn't help but feel a sense of loss and sadness for his former friend.

Now that I’ve read the comments, it’s genially infuriating Dad left Henry to be corrupted, instead of saving him. It’s especially sadder when you realise how they started bonding more in Seasons 4 and 5
Edit: Coming back to this, I almost feel like the conversation Ralph and Henry had mid-song is almost like Henry still has consciousness left in him to motivate Ralph to keep going and eventually save him
