Must be a bit of an emotional day today, just teared up slightly at the sincere graciousness with which Mr. Freeman said "it's my honour". He may be getting on in years now, but he is such an inspiration still. As a person first, and all his other talents and spiritual energy alongside.

John Lewis was such a good man, he truly cared for others and our country; he taught us what hardship was like and how to stand up for truth, equality, justice and democracy . He demonstrated courage, integrity and fought for civil rights through peace and non-violence in spite of experiencing horrific violence against himself and others. John Lewis was a leader. I have always felt tremendous gratitude and respect for Mr. Lewis and his hard fought achievements. However, that being said, I used to feel tremendous pride in my country, the United States of America 🇺🇸 but today I no longer experience those feelings of pride, instead I feel embarrassment, dread, shame, fear and disgust at what this country has become . I must acknowledge that democracy has always been elusive, merely a facade and justice has never been equal.

MLK Jr,John Lewis and Bobby Kennedy,he always said those 3 would save our country. I fully believe if Dr. King and Bobby hadn't been horrifically assassinated,THEY WOULD HAVE!
