As a teenager living in Myanmar, I can no longer enjoy my youth due to the situations. I love it so much when someone visits here and share these informations because the rest of the world is more focused on Middle East in my opinion. Anyways the sms cards as we call here do not work for over sea calls as it used to. So, if you want to contact your family u’d have to use social Mideast apps using vpn. Hope this helps!
Welcome friend, Yangon is safe for Tourists but for the local people especially above eighteen are struggling for their faded futures and trying to escape from junta military forced conscription. Middle and lower class people from downtown are struggling for thier daily life due to high prices and electricity outages.
As a Myanmar citizen,Yangon is safe for the tourists but not for the local.A lot of youths are getting forced to get in the military junta under the dictatorship, especially when you go out alone or with your friends and even when you're waiting for the bus at the bus-stop.
Don’t portray people in Myanmar as living normal lives, bro. I don’t know who pays you for this kind of content, but right now, we’re living under the threat of the junta. You might ride a taxi, visit crowded markets, and think everything’s fine-but it’s not. Myanmar is not safe. Yangon isn’t safe for us because of the military junta.
@@monteronay how can you say we are living a normal life? The junta does not allow young people to leave the country. Many people are fleeing Myanmar. Soldiers are illegally arresting young men at night and forcing them to fight on the frontlines against the resistance. And yet, your tiny little useless brain still believe everything is normal?
@@monteronay how are you sure we live as normal? Junta doesn't allow young people to leave a country. People are fleeting from Myanmar. Hi I am from Myanmar yangon and I just moved to US three months ago (as you can see the picture I am using as my account pic ) because of my country’s situation and I really hope you enjoy your trip at our country!! Thank you so much for visiting!! 😊🙏🏻😊
My friend from U.K came to see me in Yangon few weeks ago but I couldn't stand a chance to see him since there were unexpected wars on the way to Yangon (from where I am) and the military is abducting young people by force along the way. So it's basically safe for foreigners to stay in Yangon(but are not currently allowed to go anywhere else besides), it's pretty dangerous for local, especially young ones. Thank you very much for your visit and terribly sorry for this situations🙏🩵
Hi Emeka, I am a new subscriber and I’ve been really enjoying your videos exploring different countries and trying new foods. I’ve always wanted to travel and see the world, now I can watching your videos. Blessings to you on your journey and travels✌🏾🙏🏽🫶🏽
you looked so hilarious when you was riding rollarcostar and also u r so lucky the first guy with glasses who was talking to you is my idol love u guy good luck and take care bro 😁😁🥰🥰
Just a little cultural tip-many Burmese people find it disrespectful to point at temples or pagodas with an index finger. It’s not a big issue for tourists since they might not be aware, but if you want to be extra respectful, using an open hand or a slight nod is a more culturally appropriate way to gesture. Enjoy your travels!
Good to see you visit my birth country once called BURMA. I was born in RANGOON. Rollercoasters are for the under 20s, not for anyone over 30. Burmese food is great for anyone without allergies, especially nut allergy. Teal Leaf Salad is highly recommended. Just 2 words (1) Mingalarbar ~ Hello/Greetings (2) Kyay Zu Bar ~ Thank you (3) Bare-Lout-Leh ? ~ How much is it? EASY
Most are in conflict area and in very serious poverty , the people who cannot move out of conflict areas are so much in trouble . Yangon compared to other places, seems safe and happy but actually many young ppl got forcibly recruited for military service under the conscription law. Anyhow, we are happy u r here.
Even Yangon doesn’t have basic needs 😢for living and junta soldiers are kidnapping youths of Myanmar in crowded places. It’s not the best time to visit.
Well it is safe for foreigners because unlike people in Myanmar, you are not get kidnapped in the middle of bright daylight by military soldiers and then sent to the war zones. Just saying the truth about my country because most people might get the wrong idea that our own Burmese citizens are safe too. I appreciate your video tho.
We will never forget or forgive the travel bloggers who spread propaganda portraying our war-torn country as a peaceful and stable nation to the world.
why not going to civil war region?..you feel happy and fun yourself to visit Yangon where currently no any war! But, you will not understand the feelings of myanmar people, we are not happy any longer after Military coup. Please go and observe deeply how it's hard to live for people in Yangon nowadays. Stop showing to the world that myanmar is now peaceful and everything is normal.
Don't come here for showing normal everything..this can happen misunderstanding for the people from the other nations.i want you to explain that we are still under the coup and most of the citizens especially youths are suffering under the lawless situations.
As a teenager in Myanmar,I’m more scared of the rebels than the Junta, the Junta’s fine compared to those rebels who commit atrocities in the name of “democracy“. Like Junta controlled cities are pretty safe to live in,and I know I will get a lot of hate for this comment.People see things way too one sidedly, like Junta bad, rebel good. No,it’s not that simple. At the end of the day all the people care about are personal gain.
I agree, people in Myanmar are too simple minded and biased towards their ideas and beliefs. I would also appreciate you informing me of things rebels commit since I am not quite informed on the matter.
Hope you enjoyed your trip in Myanmar 😊
I Loved my time there! Can't wait to return!
