- It's December 1st, which means we normally get a visit from our trusty elf Fred and Holly. This December 1st was a little different though... We had a few unexpected visitors. Blaire leads the kids around the house looking for the Elves and Blake does what Blake does... Come join us for an early morning hunt for our Elves!

Blaire is so smart. She saved up for her iPod phone, counted marshmallows and calculated how long they lasted and found three of four elves. They may be minor things but she is going places. I can just feel that she is great with money not spending it on unnecessary things.

omg this killed me! 😂😂😂 funny story, an Elf visited us 1 year, and she couldn't even stay a week because our dad kept telling us to touch it (as a joke, he knew we couldn't) and it FULLY TRAUMATIZED US. Long story short, after a 3 day visit to the Brodie's, our Elf could happily say we were on the nice list.

Watching this with my youngest ( 8 yr old) I really miss these days with older kids they are(15, 14 & 12). We did have an elf touched many years ago and my now 14 year old had a meltdown. Doc McStuffin came to the rescue and put him on bed rest for 5 days lol
