love the shirt! Great video! I am finding I greatly enjoy this channel .
I have both the gen 1 single shot QB chief in .22 cal and the gen 2 + in .177 and they are great guns ! 👍
Can't beat it for a bargain PCP with the scope & under 200. Very accurate with the roundnose pellets. Have a good weekend. 👍 🙏 🇺🇸
Thanks for the flyswatter challenge. This has brought my enjoyment of the sport to a new higher level. I’ve been trying it with my 22 avenger. So far I’m not scoring as well as you. Today I tried the challenge with my crosman 1701p at 10 yds. and score a 17 using a red dot scope. Next I’ll try it with my 2240 and Diana chaser. Positive I won’t score as well with these pistols. Love your content.
Nice shooting!
Awesome shooting! Great times my friend.
I like the relative simplicity of this PCP, you get a lot for the money including open sights, pressure gauge and great accuracy potential. The shot count per fill isn't amazing but adequate and the profile is slim and traditional looking compared with PCPs that have a large bottle reservoir. It almost looks like a 22 with a tube magazine and will have no problem taking small game.
Had same issues. I just used a drill and bored out the suppressor a bit as per the buck-rail site. Works like a charm. Th QB Chief is for sure a diamond in the rough find. Wonderful gun but definitely needs that suppressor for backyard. 🙉😂
The QB chief can be upgraded very easily with umarex gauntlet factory parts or after market there both based on the crossman 180 160.models You could also use a QB 79 tube and drop block Assembly to convert it to a hpa bottle gun basically what umarex gauntlet did. Use a umarex gauntlet Shroud and suppesser 🛠️💪🍻💯🎯👍✌️
Ok great info.... Thanks
If converting to hpa bottle 2 extra screws and 2 holes one on each side are add in to drop block so there a total of 4 two on each side in hpa conversation.
Wish there were more video's of this gun!
I will see what I can do!
@@WalnutandSteel Thank you
Good morning Nibs ☕🍩🤓 do you want to sell your old rest?
I'm considering getting into the PCP world with this rifle. Never had one before. What pellet do you recommend for it. Just plinking and small varmints possibly. Any tuning tips?
Good shooting budget setup😮 hope I get to the range today, however the alternator went out on the Chevy so I probably wouldn't make it to the Levy😂 I get to play mechanic today😢
That won’t be any fun in 100+ degree temps!
@@WalnutandSteel sometimes you just gotta "Cowboy Up"
Yeah I have to do the same in the dead of winter when its 10 degrees out and the truck needs fixin
@@WalnutandSteel equally as uncomfortable depending on what you're used to!
Saludos .buen fin de semana
Could you give me a idea how to adjust my Chief trigger
I did a video on adjusting the Crosman 160 trigger some time ago and that would also apply to this gun.
Just under $190 on Amazon now.
Gaining popularity due to all my kind words!
Nibs What you can say about touching lead?
Its dangerous or not?
Make sure you wash your hands when you get done.
I have been working in the electronics repair industry for over 35 years, between that and my shooting habit I would think if anyone was going to have lead issued it would be me. I recently had a physical and asked my dr to do a lead test. My lead readings were slightly above average but nothing to be alarmed or concerned about according to my dr
@@WalnutandSteel thank you Nibs!
Very interesting info re: your lead level. Sounds as though you have a great doctor. I love it when my daughter and I shoot together, but I've always advised her not to touch her eyes and mouth while shooting and to wash her hands well after. As for me, I fear am doomed after a lifetime of randomly ingesting pellets like peanuts, circuit boards like peanut brittle, and spools of solder like... peanut licorice? Regardless, thank you so much for another of your always interesting and informative videos. I am about to pull the trigger on this Beeman, as the price today on Amazon is down to about $150. Good starter pcp all around, especially at that price. I like guns I can carry where I don't feel like I've stepped on the Mona Lisa with size twelve muddy lugs if I bump and/or bruise the gun while hunting. Thanks again for a fine video and some fine shooting!@WalnutandSteel
