The yellow wood...I'm not sure where's it's from. I have a lot of it and it's just beautiful stuff. Takes a wonderful polish too!
The mystery wood also can have flecks of pyrite in it.
That Hampton butte piece cut really nice! I'd be excited to see them polished!
Thank you for shout out! 🎉

Petrified wood is just the coolest stuff! And to think it's a fossil of a very ancient tree makes it even more so. Thanks for showing these great cuts.

I think it's really awesome how you and other rockhound RUclipsrs share/trade, communicate with each other. Speaks volumes of the community. Beautiful Oregon rocks. Good luck next week!!!

This is a very enjoyable video. RUclips is pissing me off because even though I subscribe to your site and have the notification button hit, this is the first video from you that I have received in a few weeks. Your videos are great, RUclips not so much.

Hi Jules! Glad you liked the Lapis. I dont have any Topaz or Turquoise right now. I would just do a search on Etsy or Amazon.

Where is Hampton Butte located? Is it in Oregon? I'm curious as my husband and I are looking for places we can go rockhounding at that are kind of close to where we're at in Spokane now that we're retired.

Yes it can be found in Oregon. You should check out the RUclips Channel @Currentlyrockhounding. He lives near or in Spokane and goes on many local rockhounding trips and shares locations. He would be a good resource for you.
