There is no lower fee than ZERO fee, and #nano accomplishes that with a live network since 2015, supported by hundreds of nodes in a decentralised system and never a single fee was ever charged!!! ? Is your information correct here? Cardano's transaction fees don't scale with usage. They are consistently .17 ADA plus bitsize. It has nothing to do with network congestion as you suggest.

Osmosis has no transaction fees but don't let that confuse anyone here to stake and unstake requires OSMO gas fees. just level a lil in your wallet its also incredibly cheap
It's 20 XRP they said they will lower the wallet reserve once it breaks a few dollars. I think you are looking at a crypto exchange minimum. It's 20 XRP for self custody hardware's wallet address

A coin could add a fee that is sent to a time locked wallet, or create a second token as a peg to the first token. Have these tokens distribute over a fixed period of time so that exponential gas fees can be mitigated with those funds.
No mention of Near? or Aurora? Transaction fees are the least on there compared to any of the others you mentioned, other than solana and eos which both SUCK. Might want to look at Elastos as well, fees are next to nothing.
I am confused when i withdraw my bitcoin from an exchange in the transaction log shows the gas fee 0.0006 BTC and in my cold wallet shows the gas fee 0.00036 BTC. is that me i get charge gas fee both way? or the cold wallet gas fee is the final fee i get charged?
I understand that you can no longer talk about Nano due to its low market cap, but especially in light of failing economies in Ukraine, I think spreading the knowledge of a zero fee, sub 1 second Crypto could actually help a lot of communities there.

$1 fee is in no way low. This is a very high percentage if we pay for things that cost $5-$10, which is quite common in the internet.

Guy, Sorry but the cheapest smart contract platform is NEAR protocol. I've paid a cents in Avax and Sol but never more than 0.0001 on NEAR.
I personally advise all traders to be sure to calculate the amount of commission for each of their trades on Bitfinex
