SUPER WINDY! | Railfanning the CPKC mactier sub (JUN 23, 2024)

On Sunday I decided to take a shot of 113 and 112 flying through Alliston. Instead of 113, I got 112 and 421. Today I was joined by ‪@CPKCMACTIERAILS‬ for the first train which was 112. It was so windy that I had to hold onto my hat and my tripod. There wasn’t many trees around so I was getting a direct northeasterly wind with nothing to slow down the wind. CP 8937 lead 112 and CP 9734 was the DPU along with intermodal and some autorack cars. 112 met 421 at weston which is just south of emery. I saw 421 at Caledon, meanwhile 113 came about an hour later. CP 9373 was the leader and the DPU was closer to the front. Just all mixed junk that was heading to Winnipeg. 421 met 100 north of Huntsville somewhere. 100 got to Vaughan around 2:30 am.
