Yes they are/were. Women comedians i think 7 times out of 10 are not very funny take example Emma Thomsons comedy show she had .....I like thomson but I disliked her show . but French and sunders they were comedy gold
So they managed to get not one but two guitar shaped topiaries for this sketch? :D Also so much fun to see Stephanie Beacham in this, such a great (and underrated) character actress.
Because times change, and with the times the people, and with the people, the NHS, and schooling, and with schooling and social media platforms, humour. The further we are away from WWII or dark times like that, the more we f*** up, each generation since then has been doing a hysterical job in the department of f******.
Doreena: "I sacrificed myself so that he could be famous" This is true in some people's case, they become delusional like that, grandiose delusions, to fill in the blank holes of low self esteem with a false sense of security.
It's actually physically impossible for her to have had children that young with any of those people... except Liberace. But, as the Great Bard once said, love knows no bounds. 🧐
Spoiler alert! Do not read this if you have not watched it yet it will probably be all the more hilarious if you don't all right - I'll say it, now : An Elvis song in an English accent is one of the funniest things I've ever heard
Yes it is indeed. One of Stephanie's best parts ever was a part called Connie back in the 1980s in a series called "Connie". She played an extremely tough and ruthless business woman with this kind of gritty northern accent. It was on the strength of her acting in Connie - which had a cult following in the UK and which was also noticed in Hollywood - that she landed the role of Sable Colby and became a big name in the USA too.
"I loved the man you see, not the superstar"....gets me every time.
French & Saunders-an extremely talented duo. Long may it continue...

I've never heard Stephanie do anything but posh accents -- so this really redefined her in my view.
She's played a lot of non-posh roles; prior to The Colbys she was in a miniseries as a prisoner in a WWII determent camp.
The Madonna child is so damn cute !
Stephanie Beacham looks like Maria Callas!!!
I was thinking that same thing the entire time! Finger nails et al!
I swear at first I thought it was her in the thumbnail picture
Wasn't she in a London stage play about Maria Callas?
She totes does! Amazingly so! Down to the mysterious stern look in the eyes and the dangling of the earrings.
この映像で観ると、マリア = カラスっぽく観えますね。でも、ビーちゃん、歌うとなぁ………。
Oh my God 😂 thank you for posting this .. Stephanie beacham is definitely under rated .. 🌺❤️
Stephanie Beachem is terrific!!
日本の女優達が束になって攻めても、ビーちゃん1人の強敵にはならないんだからね✨
Saw this back in the day - when Doreena said 'Hound Dawg' I nearly hurt meself!
"...both my and Elvis's Cherokee blood." lol
Classic.... was looking for this after Jennifer said it was the worst case of corpsing she and Dawn ever had trying to get through it!! 😂

If you can do this and Sable Colby you are a HUGE talent. Love Stephanie
I thought she looked familiar.
I kept thinking to myself, I've seen that face before, somewhere.
So they managed to get not one but two guitar shaped topiaries for this sketch? :D Also so much fun to see Stephanie Beacham in this, such a great (and underrated) character actress.
Why is there no golden comedy like this anymore?

But I’ll ALWAYS LOVE YOU! HowwnDawg!!😂❤️❤️
This one is just priceless.
Such a beautiful woman
Jennifer Saunders looks like a very young Eric Idle (Monty Python) here. This is so funny.
Loved this🤣
Believe it or not, a pink guitar shaped 60s or 70s “Elvis” Cadillac (aftermarket, of course) does exist
:-D hahahahaaaaa
Lol @ Colonel Sanders
Callas as MEDEA!! Spooky

How did the mini Madonna come to pass..
It's actually physically impossible for her to have had children that young with any of those people... except Liberace. But, as the Great Bard once said, love knows no bounds. 🧐
I keep reading about Colonel Sanders, did I miss something? I see: Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix, Madona (LOL), Buddy Holly and Liberace
I was wondering was that Buddy Holly, or Elvis Costello!!!
😘😘😘😘
My God she is the Queen of the Groupies! LOL !
Lmboooo 😂 😂😂 😂😂 😂😂 😂
Class

Can you imagine getting (ATE UP) looking into THOSE eyes?Hell, with the glasses on or off. All hail the Queen. Ms. Beacham!!!!
Ronnie Corbett's, perhaps? 😄
Camile Ferrari Buddy Holly’s
I was thinking Elvis Costello.
Not Elton?
Colonel Sanders, lol
Is that Cheryl Tweedy?
😂😂😂
Far cry from Connie.
It was her excellent performance as Connie that apparently got her the part of Sable Colby.
Elvis kissed my mom when she was 16. He was 34.
What kind of kiss?
Skit Bit - Side Split I don’t think it was particularly intimate, but he did say that for his birthday he wanted pu$$y.
@@Scrapegoat whew! And I bet he got what he wanted! 🤪🥳🥵💔😉
Skit Bit - Side Split HDU! 😛
@@Scrapegoat I didn't mean from your mom, I just meant that he got it! LOL
Doesn't she look like crystal labiege?
Red head, is it john Cash?
is that a northern accent

I just saw a clip thanks @DavidLondon. She is a very versatile talented lady! (And underrated, in my opinion)
