Thanks for having me along for this one bro! Was great seeing you work and trying new ideas and adapting on the fly with different situations, ideas and lighting conditions.
Man, I have the exact same issue regarding final shot selecting. I was even saying this to my model yesterday when shooting them. I had 84 photos make the first cut this time hahaha.
You always nail it on your photo shoots. Portraits came out fantastic. I love the look the natural light gave in that very interesting location. Thanks for sharing.
I used the auto white balance shift. Of course if you’re shooting raw it shouldn’t matter but I think its a good habit to get into to dial in your white balance so that you see what the end result will look like to make sure its on point.
If you can do a video of the hotshoe flash for the Fuji. I have that same one and I want to hear your experience with it. The photos looked great and got me thinking about trying portraits again.
I really loved this shoot! such a nice vibe and I really like the images you took. I have a question. You were talking about the number of images you deliver to an agency (after shoot). Do you usually share the whole series of edited images or a selection? and do you share them with the model as well?
Usually I share all the images I have edited. Like I said I’m trying to limit it to 20-30 of the best ones. Of course the model gets the link too and anyone else involved in the shoot!
Hello, just bought XT5 with 3 lenses,so will have a lot of questions, if you dont mind, what is the flash used in this video,Fujifilm EF-X8 Shoe Mount Flash? Thanks
Was the fujifilm xt5 in anyway limiting your usual composition and creativity Would love to hear your thoughts as I'm interested in getting it for fashion photography 😊
I don't think any other camera color science would give you better portrait results. The fuji skin tones are specialized for modeling imo. Even the .RAF files are super close to what one would want the skin tones to be:) the only issue is that Lightroom doesn't render the raf files correctly. You must use capture one or dxo to process the raf files
@@juliannel5182 unfortunately yes but you have to zoom 100 percent to see the problems. If i want to edit my xt30ii client photos, i adjust and sharpen up my raf files using capture one and then export them as dng files to lightroom but what 9 found is that even with lightroom having problem with worm effect, sharpening and color reproduction, editting fuji raw files is super easy. Skin tones are almost perfect the way they are even with raw files. I rarely edit them and there have been alot of scenarios that i got away with minor editing the jpgs and didn't even touch the raw files. And to me even 6400 iso doesn't need noise reduction in Fuji's recent cameras, that's how natural looking it is. I suggest you download some xt5 or xh2 .RAF files and edit them to see if it bothers you.
No the XT5 is great. I think the AF hit rate is really good. I will say that probably if you wanted the absolute best all round camera with no concern for price or size and weight it’s super hard to beat the R6 mark ii. But the issue is that I love taking pictures on my travels too and the XT5 just fits that use too well because it’s more compact.
Hey, I'm sure you are busy too at the moment. I just wanted to say I've sent you an e-mail about the preset tutorial vids a while ago now. If you have some time it would be really nice to get the link to the tutorials, I think you didn't see my last comment on the other video. Really no need to hurry, I'm also quite busy at the moment. Much love ❤
I am Korean and a huge fan of yours. Thank you for visiting my country, Korea.
I love Korea - I had a great time 🙏🏼☺️
LESS IS MORE !!! I've been doing shoots w/ just the XT5 + the 27mm 2.8.. All I need, so far lol.
Great video bro! The limitations really helped you come up with incredible shots!
Thanks for sharing Mitch! I love the vibe of the photos!
Looking forward to your photos of South Korea!

I think curating and selecting the right photos is the area I can improve on most. I don’t have a natural aptitude for it.

So beautiful
my new fave channel!
Welcome to Korea 😀
Beautiful images! How did you set the white balance? Did you use kelvin or auto white balance?

Great video. Could you do a video on finding the right lighting conditions for outdoor model shoots?

Love these! What were your camera settings?
When showing the photos throughout the video, were the examples in the video RAW files or the edited files? 🤔
excellent work bro
Heyy nice work! Which flash are you using?

Nice video and lovely photos. What custom autofocus setting did you use? Thanks
If you had to pick one lens which one would you recommend?
Hey what is the software that you use to curate your photos @7:42?
Heyo :) He mentioned it being "Narrative Select".
@@juliannel5182 ah right, must have missed it, thank you!! :)
Yes Narrative Select! It’s free. Link is in the video description ☺️
Can it be used on Capture 1?
@@AdrianLobodzinski yeah you can ship the images to capture 1
Was curious what are the two prime lenses you switched between for this shoot?

Nice photoshoot! What was that program you were watching the pictures?!
What metering mode, exposure comp, and aperture do you use in such situations?
These are very nice! What were the two prime lenses you were using?
it looks like maybe he was using the 35mm f2 and the 27mm f2.8 . i could be wrong though, thats just a guess.
So does it feel like shooting a full frame r6 to fuji apsc xt5 , any differences?
lens 35mm ?
Kren baget fhoto nya
It looked like what was the other camera on your strap?
Shot a roll of 35mm but it was too dark so the shots weren’t great
