Nimoy always struck me as a very thoughful guy. When you think of the character of Spock, you can't have cast it better than Nimoy: he brought an integrity and conviction to the role, as well as intelligence. He wasn't just playing a SF TV alien. He's one of those people who you would imagine would succeed at what he put his mind & heart into. He's very good in 'Never Forget', which isn't as well known as it really should be.
I always think of the part on "Cable Guy" where Jim Carrey mentions the episode to Matthew Broderick as he proceeds to re-enact it on him. The music was spot on.

The Devil In The Dark is my favorite episode. I loved the horta, not bad for a shag carpet with some crap glued to it!
"Amok Time" is one of the best Spock episodes.
