I ordered a Bip 5 unity recently, so I'm just waiting on it. Thanks for showing that you can change the color of the watch face when it's a custom picture one. No other video ever mentions or shows that, so i assumed it was always white since they never changed the color
I think it is a permission issue. Make sure you give notification access to the Zepp app on your phone. Also make sure the app is not being put to sleep. You can disable all or some of the notifications from the Zepp app but as far as I know there is no way to disable to quick reply option.
Looks like the watch does not know when you wear it on your wrist & when it is off your wrist (or needs to have the password enabled?), because the sensors keep trying to measure while you're reviewing it! Not very smart & this is wasting battery, plus annoying flicker at night. Thanks for the detailed review :o) The low budget TOTU SW-P66 doe sense it when it is no on my wrist & stops the scan. I am thinking of upgrading to Bep 5 tough!
It might have been because my fingers were intermittently next to the sensors keeping it from going to sleep. I did not check to see how long it takes but it does go to sleep and I did get good battery life while using it. There are more and more watches in this price range but I think the Bip 5 is a good buy. Thanks for watching! I am still waiting on my CMF nothing watch pro 2 to get here- but, if improved from their first watch it may be a good alternative. stay tuned!
In the Zepp app settings, go thru apps and toggle on notifications from Facebook. You can not add the app to the watch and you will only get limited notifications from the app.
It seems Amazfit changed the settings a little. This might be the problem. In the profile portion of the Zepp app scroll down to settings. then at top, accounts and security. Add Facebook. Hopefully that fixes it. Let me know. Less likely, you did not give all the permissions to the Zepp app? check in settings/ apps.
Check this part of video 15:05 How to change notification settings. as long as your watch is linked to your phone through bluetooth and the notifications are on you will get your notifications. You can check through each app to make sure the notification is toggled on. You can only send quick preset replies. I also show where you can change the quick replies at the above point. Hope that helps!
I just got this watch yesterday, and still trying to figure out a lot of stuff. The tutorials people post are necessary because the help information stinks. There is no list of icons, and their functions. Their online help also stinks. I think that's a fair statement when I spend hours looking for a description and function of the little icons on the watch, and there isn't any information provided by the company. The watch seems very useful, but the company completely dropped the ball on user guides and help. Good watch. Poor instructions.
All gadgets are getting much more advanced. Agreed, if you don't educate yourself there are likely a lot of features that will not be used because all companies are poor with giving detailed guidance. I guess they are leaving the education of their products up to RUclipsrs...🤔

I just got mine. I have an iphone and I don't have the quick reply option in the app (and it's the latest version). Am I doing something wrong?

Did you allow Zepp app all permissions? As far as I know, there is no way to disable quick replies, so nothing to turn on.
