How dare anyone that is not of your deeper complexion ask “what more do you want?” Um , the same amount of options everyone else has! I cannot believe the is still an issue in 2019 but it is. I love your videos Nyma and you are one of the reasons attention is being brought to the lack of products for deeper women of color. ❤️💙 keep pushing forward and keep going girl!!
@@noelleirina5628 unless you've scrolled through every single comment or have seen any of ur dms etc. ..you can't really say. Just have to take her word for it. Unless you think she's lying.
I am not a dark skin woman but I watch you because it genuinely brings me joy to see you educate so many people about how there needs to be more attention brought to shades for woman of color! 😓❤️ love you nyma 🥰
It’s not just makeup either.... it would be nice if we could get affordable undergarments and shoes in all shades of nude. Especially the shoes, I’m really distraught over the options out there for darker shades of “nude” shoes. I don’t guess they are aware that we are not all ivory or taupe 😂 it is so bad that I have had to resort to the traditional nude color heel in a suede fabric and cover them in foundation to even remotely match my body. That was a trick I learned from my daughter because they didn’t make darker nude shoes for ballet dancers either. It worked but ugh! We want long leg lines too LOL
fuhgetabouddit I completely agree with you , it’s just so unfair that there’s not enough attention brought to w.o.c & it’s truly sad! That’s why I love that there’s people like nyma who actually raise attention towards these kinds of things & use their platform for something so beautiful!
Jocelyn Max I completely agree. I did not know this was even an issue. I’m glad she’s educating us about the challenges because I didn’t know until I watched her videos. She’s beautiful and I love her personality and confidence.
The answer to "What more do you want?" is the freedom to make the same kinds of choices with makeup that most of us take for granted. It's literally that simple.
Nyma, it’s 8:30 am for me and I’m doing my makeup. I pause and start wondering about how to match my foundation between my face and chest and I pick up my phone. Just to see that you’ve posted this. HOW DID YOU KNOW??? 😂❤️
I don't know how to do my makeup, but I love your videos. Wish I could hire you to shop with me and teach me in person (the Sephora folks just don't get it right).
You're without a doubt my favorite "beauty guru" to watch. Watching/listening to you is like therapy. You're so sweet and calming. I don't even wear makeup most of the time outside of mascara, and yet here I am. 👀
She is truly truly gorgeous! People would only see dark skin and consider ugly. Black is extremely beautiful and she extremely beautiful. I hope she is modeling.
Same its sooo annoying! My chest is like yellow and my face is brown my inner arms are yelow too but the back of my arms are deep brown!!!! I dont even know what to do with my body !

I am SO happy that cosmetics lines are being more diverse in their shade options! I definitely think it is from people of influence like yourself who DON'T settle, who are picky, and who speak up for others when you say what works and what doesn't. I make sure to take extra time to show women techniques like yours to make sure they aren’t having to settle for something that wasn’t made with them in mind! Love learning from your videos ❤️
You are so beautiful without makeup!! And I’m so happy that you’ve found a foundation that is actually your shade to the T!!! You’re honestly so inspiring 🥰💗

Looks so beautiful. And yes we can relate cheers to all the body parts being different colors I think that's what makes the makeup look so good the concealer Foundation powder all different colors but they all blend together to mimic the different facets of our skin
YES! I love this version of matching to your chest. People constantly want me to match my foundation to my chest but I can’t! My chest is Fit Me 338. My neck is Fit Me 370. My face is somewhere in between (but I don’t have a Fit Me match for my face). So I match my foundation to my face and try to balance my neck and chest colors in my highlighting and contouring. Also, thank you about the undertones. It makes a world of difference. That’s actually more of a struggle for me than finding something deep enough, my undertone is weird.

In terms of skin tones I am the extreme opposite of you. In terms of being human we are so much alike! I love your videos so much and even though we obviously would wear different foundations, concealer etc. you teach me so much. Not only are you a positive light for the African American community but you are such a talented make up artist for everyone to learn from. Much love 🥰
Thank u for your tips. When I first started watching u you were gorgeous and now that there’s more options for “our skin tones” u are still stunning. Thank u for continuing the fight for our cause of inclusion. You’ve made me realIze I want everything that other complexions have without making “products work”. 😍😘
Please keep updating us on new routines! 💖💖 I love to see how opinions change. My skin has changed as I’ve gotten older so some things that I used to like aren’t working anymore
I just got back from basic training. My face and my hands have a horrible tan now from being out in the hot sun. Im so thankful for this video because I didnt want to use skin bleaching products. Again thank you.

Your tips are so helpful and I haven't heard of them before, more people should point these things out. Also your foundation skills are Insane your skin is flawless 💞
Much love 🥰
Best video she’s ever made? Yesssss 👏 👏 👏
This showed up on my feed and I just had to click. That red lip is amazing on you. Wow...you’re so beautiful!!
My skin has changed as I’ve gotten older so some things that I used to like aren’t working anymore
the finishing was wow mind blowing !!! beautiful skin
You look so pretty . The red lip color brought this look to a top level . 👍 Much love
I just got back from basic training. My face and my hands have a horrible tan now from being out in the hot sun. Im so thankful for this video because I didnt want to use skin bleaching products. Again thank you.
I have definitely tried using a white pencil to tightline and thought it was just me who had a problem! I never even considered using a darker color for some reason, thank you!
Smiling the whole video because I’m so happy we got here with the shade ranges :’)))))
