Rock Maple is up there as some of my favorite firewoods. The 4 way seems to work well on the 12-22, them splitters have changed everything in the firewood world.

@Tonnsfabrication The way Eastonmade designed their 4 way is awesome! The fact that it drops to the bottom for a single wedge is great! It's an amazing machine for sure! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment! 👍🍁

I have a Logrite. Haven’t had any issues with it. Give them a call. Good people to work with. As for the ash log. Guess Phil is right. Hard choice. Depends on the species. Ash will bring more as bundle wood. Good luck with securing the restaurant contract. God Bless 🙏

@marksalisbury7456 I've had this Logrite pickeroon for probably about 5 years. I like it but it just started sounding funny. That ash log will definitely make a good amount of bundle wood! Thanks for watching and commenting Mark! God has blessed us far more than we can comprehend! 👍🍁

@bensfirewood I really like this one. It just started sounding funny when it hits the wood. 🤷‍♂️. Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍🍁

question -at 6'4 do you ever feel like the splitter is abit low?i'm only 6'2 and i always felt any splitter i worked was low and my back hurt after a few hours

@bobrumpf2576 I do watch Old Guy Firewood. I'll have to check out Trees to Firewood. Not really, though it depends on how the splitter is setup and lay of the land. For the most part it's just fine for me. Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍🍁

Why do you stack rounds if you're going to split them? That reminds me of my dad exactly matching the nails at the seams of insulation on the outside walls of the house he built, when brick veneer would cover the walls of the house. Seems to me a waste of time and labor. Volume of the wood isn't a factor.

@joeahopelto8032 I don't always do it. I did it this time so that I could load the splitter from my preferred side of the machine and not be running around the splitter to keep the log lift full. Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍🍁
