Dex was absolutely gorgeous! He was the finest accessory Alexis ever had! He rocked my world back in the day,still does everytime I see him on Dynasty reruns,and Alexis was gorgeous to, they were the best couple,they were the only reason I watched.

Blake and Dex were Alexis's two great loves, but while Blake is passionless and largely unsentimental about his past with Alexis, Dex never gives up on Alexis. There's much more of a spark between them than between Blake and Alexis.
I agree that Blake and Dex were the most special of all the men in Alexis life. I also think she and Dex shared a more passionate love sotry. Maybe Dex reminded her of how Blake used to be when he was young. I wish the new Dynasty had been a prequel about Blake and Alexis marriage rather than the reboot it is.
@@Karsch100 The dynamics were different and, I think, reflect where Alexis was at different parts of her life. I get the feeling Blake was paternalistic and controlling with Alexis in the early years of their marriage. She tries to dominate Dex but he never lets her.
I wish Alexis and Dex had ended up back together when they did that terrible Reunion show, two years after the series ended. Dex was what Alexis needed. I hated that in the Reunion it was just commented that he didn’t fair as well as Alexis after the fall from the balcony, they took at the end of series 9. Pity he wasn’t in the reunion. To someone who asked me to find season 7-9 for them. I would recommend you to buy the DVDs. That's what I did. I don't know where to find things on streaming etc.
Came looking for Alexis/Dex videos after hearing about Michael Nader's passing. *sob* This is the best I've found so far. Question: at about 2:49, Alexis has her hand on her belly and Dex covers it with his own. Alexis seems distraught. What is that about? It's been a while since I watched the whole show (like, when it originally aired kind of a while...)

I was also sad to hear about Michael Nader's passing. :( Alexis and Dex are arguing in the clip you are asking about and he tells her he won't let her manipulate him and that she is the only woman for him. I can't remember what they are arguing about if it's Amanda, Leslie or something else.

True, Alexis always got what she wanted. Except for one thing. She wanted Blake back but he stayed with Krystle.
