That num pad is sick! Would love if it could clip into the keyboard.

The C64 version is magnetic with its corresponding keyboard.

Great idea to add standalone calculator functionality.

Man, that C64 one looks so great! If I wasn't already buried in spare keyboards it would look great hooked up to a MiSTer!

I already had this on my Christmas list to go with my keyboard. I didn't know about that display. That's sick.

Those both look really cool, keyboard and numpad. Would be fun to have a whole setup themed like that. Make your system look retro.

If they were planning ahead for this, I don't know why they didn't have a slot on the side of the keyboard that it could have slid in to. I got it this week and it works great - but adjusting the position of your keyboard is a little clunkier because you really have to adjust the two 'boards' independently. I've used Corsair and Durgod mechanical keyboards in the last decade, and this one is by far my favourite to type on.

They weren't, it took 8 months for the pad to come out.

I remember in the Apple Portable back in 1990 you could place the trackball on the left or the right. I guess it's too difficult now to put a small connector and plug this on the right or the left of the keyboard to accommodate everyone and save the need for extra connection to the computer.

This is so close to being a replacement for the Ducky Pocket but it doesn't have nearly the customization. I really hope they can patch in custom keybinds in a firmware update. Thanks for the review Lon.

Maybe manufacturer could retool molds on keyboard and number pad so they click locked together and even have a recessed connector to allow power / keystrokes to pass thru to the keyboard connection

I picked one and it is indeed great. The only other similar product Ive found cost almost twice a much, I just like having the calculator as an independent function. I do wish the screen was angled just a tad

Looks awesome, the keyboard and numpad. The miss for me is the lack of custom programmable keys. I use them so much.

Nice calculator feature built-in! :) If you have a 90-degree USB-C cable, can you plug that cable in without the interference? I have my USB-C keypad (non-8bitdo) mounted to the phone holder which is attached to the arm and unfortunately, I'm not able to plug in the angled USB-C adapter because of the interference. I have no need for Bluetooth and wireless functionality and I would gladly save some money by getting the wired only version.

a excuse to get a keyboard without a numb pad. THose custom keyboard group seem to not offer numb pad.
This will fillfill the numb pad.
Does the keyboard have extra usb ports? Usally a extension usb with a usb splitter helps. FOr the odd usb device. IDK plug in a usb mouse
    All that would be nice
Bluetooth or 2.4 is good enough. Can play a game fine. PLugged in for competitive play.
Back light not needed. Pretty neat if it's on there.
I just got a full fledge gaming keyboard. Tired of all that. With programmable micro on the side.

not going to lie, bit of a let down that i need 2 ports for a 100% keyboard. you would think they would have some way to connect this up to the keyboard, USB real estate is a thing.

If it were cheaper and they had a complete 108 key keyboard, I'd go for something like that. I can see some people really liking a separate numpad, but more than $20 is far too much, especially for just a numpad. The full-size wireless mouse and keyboard combo that I use with my Pi only cost $20 and aside from sounding like garbage they function perfectly. If the only reason to get a mechanical keyboard is the sound, then I just don't get it. Of course, I'm not the target audience for products like this.

@@Ds-xz3hc Since a keyboard won't make you a faster or more accurate typist, you're going to have to explain that stretch of logic. A Ferrari will still get you to work, but a numpad missing a keyboard, won't get the job done.
