Hi Mack! Loving your content! May not remember me but you’re making me want to get back in the Scrabble scene. You talking through your racks have taught me a LOT. Wishing you all success!
Thanks so much for your kind words Stephen, and of course I remember you -- hope you've been well! Would love to see you at another tournament in the near future!

just a guess, but I think the computer sees the tiles remaining and assumes it will triple triple almost as often as you do with its next draw. (just slightly less often since you're the turn player after it moves) After all a lot of its simulations probably has it drawing a triple triple while you fish off random junk for 10 points which would completely swing the game in its favor. Since its down a tempo anyway, it sees these high variance 60-40 coin flips as being marginally better than being more defensive and being down a tempo. If it were up 50 I don't think it would go for the same type of play.
there's also the fact that in the simulation it almost never sees you blocking without a bingo, since a 15 point play through the triple that plays off bingo tiles is never the "correct" equity play.
@@HopUpOutDaBed Very good point, I think you're right. Especially your second point, as the sim isn't recursive and assumes I'm going to make the best equity play (which, as you said, is not going to be a block unless I bingo there).
I think computers make somewhat random choices just due to variance in sim results. Unless you run very long sims, winning percentages for close plays will vary a bunch.
Can you do a match with another pro where you can only play words you know the definition of? Post the definition after the word in the chat, if successfully challenging the definition the next turn is passed
@@king812345678 It would probably just end in a tie. Unless you can create a situation like the M's game where you make a bingo that blocks the whole board, it was just finish 350-350
lol TRIENTES, amazing move
Clearly best because it sounds the fanciest.

Only one triple triple was available -ANIMATES
Yeah sure felt like there should've been more!

Fun one as always! What about a bag with no E's? Maybe the other vowels could be increased to compensate.

So glad you tried out my suggestion, thanks!
Thanks very much for suggesting it!
at 13:02 i believe you had STIRRES hooking SAT for a bingo, although I'm not sure if its CSW only
Attempt 2
Only the tiles of SLATE
20 of each, that’s it.
Suggestion 1: 1A, 2Bs, 3Cs, 4Ds, 5Es, 6Fs, 7Gs, 8Hs, 9Is, 10Js, 11Ks, 12Ls, 13Ms, 9blanks. Suggestion 2: 2 each of K X J Q Z and 90 blanks.

I want to see a game with only blanks.
Literally a coin flip, every turn you get 50 points. Whoever goes first wins
0 points
@@TioStrawb so you think they wouldn't get a single bingo

That would probably break Quackle. Sims would take infinitely long
