Yes both sound like Sekhmet with a hint of Osiris myth. Even the same word for happiness in these languages: Fara-Shona/Farxad-Somali/Furaha-Swahili/Nefar-Ancient Kemet.
I don't agree, we have our language as national language when majority of African countries have adopted coloniser languages as their national language. Somali was written in 1974 and we have reserved our culture and traditions and rejected western colonialist culture. Today somali language is of the most preserved language in Africa. Also one of the the first to be added to Google translate.
We have also written our language in usmaniya script before colonialism began. We are known for being the land of poets. We are the macrobia, the punt, the ajuran, adal empire. We have rich culture and we know who we are, but West Africans are obsessed with bashing somali people and I don't know where this animosity comes from. I think you guys hate the fact we are Muslims. We are not interested in hypocrisy masquerading as pan Africanism
@@Sumadeena Somalis deny their African blood and consider themselves Arabs. Damn Google Translate, Somalis collectively have a severe identity crisis. Islam has ruined 🇸🇴
This is great not just the shared stories but the obvious connections, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for listening

Same in arabic it's فرح
What’s crazy is today the Somali doesn’t remember himself before Arab contact
Some of them do. But the majority is lost. But we also have to remember islam. Christianity and Judaism had african influence.
