To everyone wondering what the mistake was, the rounds in this videos were the rounds I did to train for the derby not the actual derby rounds:))) my issues in my derby round was a refusal which was unfortunate but not uncommon!
it's so great that you feel comfortable discussing setbacks, and it's okay to make mistakes!! they're normal with horses too, they're always changing and so are we :)
Eleese, yes! Horses are so freaking humbling. You're a talented and hardworking rider but you can literally be Beezie Madden and things might still go sideways. It's so important to show the "rougher" moments, learning moments, imperfect shots etc. You and Chino still looked great and having an overall positive experience is what's important ❤
I admire your realness, genuine attitude, and humbleness overall. Setbacks are so difficult, I'm glad you could post this video and give other people some courage to discuss their setbacks as well. Unrelated. You have such celebrity energy if that makes any sense. I don't know if you like Emma Chamberlain, but you have a similar vibe to her. A down-to-earth celebrity almost. That made like no sense but yeaa. Have a beautiful day!
Hey, it’s okay to mess up sometimes or to have setbacks. Unfortunately it’s unavoidable, because well, we’re human. You still looked awesome so don’t worry! The video was amazing to watch as always 💕
you are so amazing! for every 1 mistake you make thats 20 for me lol! mistakes are what make us better! i hope you are having at the show! i went last year for green incentive finals!!! ALSO... WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR DERBY TRIP? i love watching you jump those huge jumps (even if u say it was bad hahha)
Elesse!! I was in that same Covered Arena watching shows!! ❤️ And it’s ok to make mistakes! We are all human and it shows that we’re not perfect, no one is! But you are still such a roll model to lots of people!! ❤️ Also I am doing my first Show on Sunday do you have any tips? I have been riding for about as long as I can remember but am doing my first show! ❤️
I had a major set back because my horse went on a refuseal spree and go through the jump but I am finally getting to jump good again but I fell like it was me because when she did once that was I all I thought about. Any ways I want to ride like you when I am older you are amazing

Love this! We all have our mistakes. The only way we can learn. 💗💗

No matter what mistakes you made, you still rode great!! I saw you at the khp showing while I was there showing too!
I watched you live while I was in Kentucky, and I know it wasn’t the greatest round but you handled it so professionally and I was so amazed! :)

Aww, did you not get to go in the ring for the final? I love seeing you two fly over the big jumps!
You still looked awesome! We all make mistakes sometimes!
for us non-horse savvy people, what was the mistake?
Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. I missed the mistake. You looked great!
I watched the video three times and couldn’t find the mistake ahah
Did Nick show?
hey! i was wondering what height you are competing at? and we all learn from mistakes💗
The jumps ranged from 3.6-4.6 ft!
So where are the derby rounds?
They are probably on the horse clips website, but you have to pay to see them!
