@@Epichydra5127so true. i think when people really REALLY get used to this game and put years into it like many did with rivals 1, this game will be similar. there was a certain smoothness to R1 that R2 feels like it lacks a little though, but that was probably by design
God that Clairen match at the end was infuriating to watch. Several interactions throughout the match where they would literally run away across the stage, sit and refuse to approach. Glad Leffen took their elo.
Does anyone know what’s going on around 5:30 with that recovery? He does the side special clone but then gets so much horizontal distance with what looks like a down air
How do you isntantly grab the ledge with Forsburn upB without exploding and with no smoke? I see Leffen do it constantly it in this video but can't seem to replicate it
Does anybody know how Leffen is snapping to ledge with Forsburn's Up-B? I feel like anytime I Up-B to ledge he explodes in place then grabs ledge instead of instagrabbing like Leffen.
If you’re already good at platform fighters and melee-like movement, you’ll be naturally good at this game. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out why pro Smash players can get good at Rivals very quickly.
The movement in this game is schmoooovin
Tbh you should watch some high level rivals 1. They absolutely move in that game.

@@Epichydra5127Rivals 1 is super ugly tho, movement is not everything
@@KRizmaTV Its not ugly its stylized. Very much not ugly, just not a triple A title
The free demo for this game ends 2 days. don't miss it.

this is like Thorfinn from berserk
god bless these uploads
Just started the video and leffen is immediately complaining.
apparently actual factual training mode stuff is coming at launch?
"this guy is 'I'ma random Fsmash'" -- my dude, that's EVERY Lox :P
smash attacks need some tuning real bad
Damn leffin already so good lol

nvm found on the wiki, the clone can throw you if you side special again, cool

3 weeks ago but you can snap to ledge if you up b from above the ledge and angle down
Bro I understand leffen hate but don’t let it blind you.

Up specials at downward angles snap to ledge, just like melee
Appreciate it! Yeah ledges weren't a thing in RoA 1 so never had to worry about that lmao. I will definitely be taking advantage of this now though!
Forsburn's down smash comes out on frame 8. So yes, you should Dsmash more.
Can someone please tell me which controller leffen is using?
"The training mode is dogshit in this game"
Cap
Naw he's right 100%
R2 training mode is better than 90% of platfighters. Tutorials, otoh...
He is right tho, so many vital training mode options are missing, but that doesn't mean they won't get added later
Everybody and their mother playing Clairen it’s so annoying to play against like 50% of games
Dude same with Ranno. day one of Demo ranked I played 8 Rannos in a row.
Okay ... people are already that good without even published ... I guess I stay at viewing than playing xD
You should play, it's a lot of fun at all levels
@14Blackspirit no man, we need people to buy this 😩 you'll be fine
There will always be people who put in an insane amount of time at the very beginning, in every video game. You're in the same boat as 95% of us

Nah man this game has a very intuative learning curve it's not too hard to get good at it
