I like the addin a lot. Can I also use default prompts in word? I usually only want it to correct a selection of word text and I do not want to retype my prompt ("correct this") again and again. Thank you!
Hello, just a sincere suggestion for possible future videos. Please don't zoom in to explain specific functions. That actually hinders more than it helps. It's much easier to follow all the modifications with the screen full. It would make sense if the video were smaller than 1080p, but it's up to 4k. Despite the criticism, thank you for your video.
This doesn't seem right. When you select the sentence at 2:30 and instruct GPT to "continue this paragraph", it simply responds with the next paragraph you already wrote. Then you insert this duplication into your paper. Were you not aware that it hadn't generated any unique content or was this redundancy intentional somehow? The only useful thing was translating into another language, but why would I use GPT tokens I have to pay for instead of a free translator that requires a simple copy/paste?
Very well spotted, thanks. I didn't notice that when making the video. I'm assuming this was due to the original next paragraph being included in the chat history, which messed up the prompt. We will try to improve this, although it is quite a particular corner case which shouldn't happen often. An easy way to prevent it completely for now is to clear the chat if you do continuation prompts.
Thanks for the tutorial it was very intuitive, however I believe you might need to update your video as some of the features you mentioned aren't available on the new installments.
I have a MS 365 personal license, when I click "sign in with Microsoft', it brings up a sign in window in the left, i input the correct details, it then closes the sign in window and nothing happens (still showing the 'Welcome to GPT for Word' window to the right) - Any ideas / help would be appreciated!
Not sure what your "Chinese" translation actually stated. Chinese is not a language. The major languages spoken in China is Mandarin and Cantonese. Was your translation to mandarin or cantonese? If you don't know, how do you know it serves the interest of your target group?
As a Cantonese native speaker, I can tell that although Cantonese also has its own writing system, we normally don't use it in formal situation. What you can see is the "written Chinese", defaulted to simplified Chinese, which is used in China, Malaysia, Singapore, etc.. If you target group is from Hong Kong or Tai Wan, you gotta ask it to translate to Traditional Chinese. Hope it helps.
Hello, sorry if my example was poorly chosen and thank you for teaching me. I'll be more careful next time. You can of course input Mandarin or Cantonese instead of "Chinese".
Oh yes, man, it's an amazing tool! Especially in terms of summarizing and compiling information. That really saves my poor brain

thanks for the feedback. I will turn off the automated zooming, I think I agree with you
Add glossary support to customize translation , add Claude sonnet 3.5 models.
roger that! sonnet 3.5 is coming soon to Word, and then we will add the glossary.
nice share
Claude AI Opus support would be nice. I could also use the ability to create and save my own one-click prompts.
roger that, we'll add Claude models soon and work on one-click prompts

je ne parle pas anglais et je souhaiterais me servir de ChatGPT en langue française comment faire ? MERCI
bonjour, notre produit n'est pas encore disponible en français
il vous suffit d'écrire en français :)
is there a limit to the amount of times i can use this with ms word
you're only limited by what you pay for.
This amazing!, but ... can i also use this AI for excel formulas?
想的美
you can use GPT for Excel to write/edit/translate/analyse text in Excel, but not yet for formulas
if we rephrase using the gpt like you showed in the video, could it be detected by Turnitin or any AI detector?
It likely depends on the input and instructions you give.
how to get the editing tabs that next to share tab at upper right .
please contact our support

chatgpt is made by openai, we're a different company.
It is useful but come on man, why I need to pay for everything. If it were free but with limits it would have a better welcome by everyone.
