Thank you for commenting... I wonder how I missed this comment. My grandfather's family is German. Schmitter... they came to the US in the 1900's I can't remember the location they were from :(
I'm glad you're still here... Licensing and sales are 2 different videos ;) Are you debating on licensing your work? Or do you need help to have a conversation with your clients or potential clients (sales)? :-)
@@photobizmethod I’ve looked into licensing before but didn’t pursue it because I was holding out for gallery work but at this point I just want to make my money back in any manner I can.
@@stevenwaynephoto gotcha, in order to make money you have to know your client. Who are you selling to? What do they want? Do you know these questions? Let me know. Thanks!
@@photobizmethod Southern Magazine contacted me once for a lake I photographed but immediately told me they were no longer interested when I didn’t know how much to charge to license it. I’ve photographed a lot of lakes, swamps, rivers and creeks here in the south some of the best images I’ve never released. I’ve also got a ton of images that I’ve never released of Disney World and Universal Studios. I’ve also got a ton of abstract images I’ve never released that would be great as screen saver art or background images. Street photography too. I’ve jumped from one style of photography to another.
great question. from my experience, if you make money from these subjects, you should research and call them to see if it's ok. Here is a great article: help.unsplash.com/en/articles/6604673-when-do-i-need-to-get-a-property-release
Do you want a sales video? Let me know what type of work you sell or want to sell so I hit your mark :-)
Hey Janice, nice video! Thanks :) Greetings from Germany

@@photobizmethod hey, no problem. Thanks for reply 🙂
Oh really? Cool. But I think the majority of Americans have German ancestors of some sort. 🙂
@@DominikKristen My Great Grandpa and Grandma are from Germany :)
@@photobizmethod Oh that's nice. So I don't think that you can speak just a little german? :)
Great video.....thank you very much!
Hi Michal, thanks for the comment. I'm glad you liked it :) Progress over perfection LOL
I didn’t want to hear this but need it. A video on licensing and sales would be awesome 😎
