Good quality football by both teams. Congratulations to the players and to coaches Lennie Hyde and Andrew Peart who raised their teams above the usual schoolboy kick and rush.
This is the same mindset all the fans had. According to what they have seen, Clarendon College will win everything. I guess you're reading too much into how the game ended with CC pressing and Glenmuir holding on.
beautifully said bro, they don't speak with logic, their mindset is that the team always winning will win but I will rejoice when Glenmuir proves them wrong@@thejamaicandudewith100ksub3
It is obvious that Clarendon College has the better team! However, indiscipline got the better of them! Glenmuir showed more discipline and got a bit complacent in the end! Good match! Clarendon darby! One more to come! My money is on Clarendon College!
Lol these people with the RUclips ball knowledge. How is it that Clarendon College has the better team when they have a handicapped defense (no sensible goalkeeper), and they don't have clinical strikers? If you watched even the match they played with STGC, many of these "tactical" fouls were excused and no cards were shown. If you watched the entire final vs Glenmuir you would see that the tackling was desperate, and they could have had more than 1 red cards. Lol just watch ball game bro and cheer fi yuh team. Don't be too bold to make these statements about teams being better. This isn't Man City vs Norwich.

Good game, would love to see our youths exiting schoolboy football by age 16 and transitioning onward to academies and college While our youths are playing schoolboy football at age 19 Mbappe was starring in the World Cup. Surely we aren't blind to that
I have said this elsewhere. Superior coaching on the day is what will separate the top teams. It was evident that Glenmuir were the better prepared team in this version of the Clarendon Darby. C.C.'s quality is undeniable. However, these young players must never forget that this rivalry between these schools go back decades and school pride is a powerful motivating factor. Hats off again to Coach Peart. Well done. Lets see how these two teams deliver in the D cup finals.
Do you not think that if Clarendon did not have a player sent off the result may have been different . The coaching can't be the deciding factor when both teams do not have the same number of players on the pitch ?
In addition I find that the schoolboy players are not capable of giving coherent interviews . One was asked what was the deciding factor in the game and he said the equaliser when clearly the red card carried the greater weight as the scores were level . In addition Clarendon's weakest link is their keeper who is hopeless
@@leroysmart9363 I think the answer he gave was correct. From Glenmuir's perspective it was at that moment it started to really turn. After the equalizer, Glenmuir turned on the pressure and could have gone in 2-1 up at halftime. It was that same pressure that led to some desperate tackles by CC and one resulted in a very easy red card decision.
@@leroysmart9363did you play? How can you feel his answer is incoherent? As the one playing, he must know what shifted in the game to cause them to find the capacity to win.
The two coaches are masters at how they handle victory and defeat. A masterstroke by coach Hyde to avoid commenting on the referee's red card. Just a blip on a fantastic journey for CC for several seasons so far. And they will have a chance to get revenge against Glenmuir in the DaCosta Cup finals.
So true!!! They were leading 3-1 with 2 minutes of added on time to go, and Glenmuir was still trying to score. They got away down the flank, and instead of going to the corner flag the player squared the ball basically giving CC a chance to counter. Glenmuir needs to learn how to manage games better.

From what I saw the ref handed the game to Glenmuir when the red card was given. The guy wasn't even the last man and you gave a straight red hmmm. The same incident happened where the Glenmuir keeper was the last man when he took down the player and wasn't shown the same red card. Consistency in the ref's calls.
Lol RUclips ball knowledge again. Learn the rules of the game bro before making such statements. The reason why the CC player was giving a red card is that he made absolutely no attempt to win the ball but he brought the player down and denied a clear goalscoring opportunity. Google 'DOGSO'. Now for the second incident, the goalkeeper tried to win the ball but fouled the player, and the correct decision was made to award a penalty.
