I left Mormonism for Christianity, I had an encounter with God back in 2013 after going through a dark time. I started reading the Bible and hungering for that more than the Mormon books, I felt as if I was being born again, but kept it to myself all these years. Long story short I found out about the church’s history 3 years ago and came straight to Christ, my parents couldn’t understand and am having faith and praying my relationship with them get better.

Islam certainly does not tell lies, but brings out the truth. If you are a Christian, well Jesus did not start Christainity and neither did Paul, but well over 330 years ago before the birth of Jesus, it was Alexander the Great that started it!, so stop the propaganda and lies against Islam and tell your own truth, as to there are well over 200 Holy Bible versions around the world, yet not even 1 Bible is identical to the other Bible why?, as the lies are spread by Christianity who have corrupted the Bible! The Holy Quran is preserved from the day it was revealed to its current format.

Dear Maari, it is easy for you to spew words without realizing the gravity of them. There is a reason that neither Christians, nor Jews, follow the false prophet Mohammad. For one, in all the history of humanity before him there was never a prophet who came with a literal sword and subjugated people. Truth does not need to do that, Truth does not force itself onto others. Second, Islam denies the fundamental beliefs of both Judaism and Christianity and makes God out to be a liar; here is but one simple example:
Matthew 16: 21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, SATAN: thou art an OFFENCE unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Clearly, you can see that no Christian is going to take it to ease that a new "prophet" is going to come some 600 years afterwards and claim that the fundamental tenants of their faith for which hundreds of martyrs had given up their lives for the faith in Christ and in his resurrection in order to build up the first church has been wrong. That would mean that God allowed the death of all those saints for the sake of a false doctrine that he was mistaken in sending. This is especially hard to grasp since Christians have also been warned that many false prophets will come after Christ- read the Gospels or:
      www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+John+4&version=ESV
Also Christ clearly states that He is the beginning and the last the Alpha and the Omega, He is the fulfillment of the Torah and of the prophets before him and the very fact that he is named the "Christ" means that he is the chosen one, the one needed for our salvation. The one the Jewish people had been waiting for and that would spread the blessing promised to Abraham to the entire world. Why would there be any need for another prophet, especially one that denies the very basis of the salvation that God promised humanity since the fall of Adam.
What you claim about the Jewish people not accepting Jesus is mostly a misconception, as the majority of the first Christians were in fact Jewish and the people who remain today follow a Rabbinic form of Judaism that is detached from the word of God, the Torah and are few in proportion to the many who accepted Jesus as the Messiah. Funny enough, this is also prophesied of in the Torah and in the Psalms (both of which are holy for us Christians) because of the hardness of their hearts. We believe, as is also written, that the majority will also come to accept the King from the line of David (Jesus) as their Messiah towards the end of time. This is truly happening these days, look into "Messianic Jews" and their growing numbers like crazy.
So you see, it might be nice to think that we should accept all who claim prophecy or that all religions lead to God. but that is not true. When people were surrounded in al-Raqqa by ISIS and the Kurds were trying to liberate them, they opened up a small corridor for the civilians to escape the violence. I doubt that any of the refugees asked the Kurds why they had only given them one corridor to escape through or that they were upset that there was only ONE way for them to get out of al Raqqa, they were just happy to escape. Similarly, God with all his Holiness gave us a way to return to him from this world that has been engulfed into chaos and sin, and we should be very glad and humbled that He even allowed this One way for us to return to him and that is through the eternal sacrifice of his Only begotten Son as a remission for our sins and a reconciliation through his Love and Grace. Peace to you.
Oh, and by the way, the reason we do not "honor" Jesus by saying some words liek PBUH after his name is because Jesus warned us against doing just that- He called people who did this hypocrites because God does not want your empty words, he wants you heart, your fellowship and for you to obey His will, willingly with love and true humility. As for honoring him truly, if you were ever to read the writings of the saints and the church fathers about Jesus or asked any real christian how they felt about him, you would be reading an immense and deep poetry that is hard to even grasp. That, my friend, is true honoring, not some mindless repetition that I add to a name after saying it.

Why are you asking the same question twice?? He was innocent, He did not break any laws, It was the people who wanted His death and accused him of many things "claiming He and the Father were One"- which is simply the Truth.

DO you worship Jesus, or the one Jesus worshiped?
One glaring problem the Christians have is that Jesus prayed, and had a God himself. This logically lets us conclude that Jesus cannot be God. The logical thing to do is worship and pray to the one Jesus prayed to. If Jesus told you that he had a God, would you honestly take Jesus as God? The logical answer is no, but Christians throw all logic out when it comes to their Bible.
      Matthew 26:36-44
      36. Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, "Sit here while I go over there and pray."
      37. He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled.
      38. Then he said to them, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me."
      39. Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
      40. Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?" he asked Peter.
      41. "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."
      42. He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done."
      43. When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy.
      44. So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, SAYING THE SAME THING.
So are you going worship the one Jesus prayed to? Or are you going to worship Jesus? Logically you worship the one Jesus prayed to.

The Bible also claims that Jesus cannot save anyone! Here is the passage:
Hebrews 5:1-8: 1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: 2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity. 3 And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins. 4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. 5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. 6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered
So Jesus cried to the one who could save him from death, this means Jesus could not save himself from death, therefore this also means Jesus cannot save anyone else from death. How can Jesus be God when he cannot save anyone? This also shows that Jesus is not in control of life and death, God however is in control of everything, including life and death.

You start your comment in a very offensive way and then you expect me to answer your questions?! Why is it for many muslims so difficult to let other be how they wish to?! You are a hypocrite: you talk about concocted stroy while you are concocting stories yourself while suggesting that "missionaries" gave me something. Islam, you and many other muslims are so insecure. If you believe that ridiculing another faith will justify islam that you are wrong.
      No compulsory in islam?!
The Mecca verse you refer is invalid as it was abrogated by the Medina verse 9:29.
This is the "official" understanding and teaching of islam, and the vast majority of islamic scholars and imams agree on it.
The greatest sunni scholar wrote in his tasfri: Tafsir of Ibn Kathir, Al-Firdous Ltd., London, 1999: First Edition, Part 3, pp. 37-38: 'Allah says: "There is no compulsion in religion", meaning: do not force anyone to embrace Islam, because it is clear and its proofs and evidences are manifest. Whoever Allah guides and opens his heart to Islam has indeed embraced it with clear evidence. Whoever Allah misguides blinds his heart and has set a seal on his hearing and a covering on his eyes cannot embrace Islam by force...hence Allah revealed this verse. But, this verse is abrogated by the verse of "fighting...Therefore, all people of the world should be called to Islam. If anyone of them refuses to do so, or refuses to pay the Jizya they should be fought till they are killed. This is the meaning of compulsion. In the Sahih, the Prophet said: "Allah wonders at those people who will enter Paradise in chains", meaning prisoners brought in chains to the Islamic state, then they embrace Islam sincerely and become righteous, and are entered among the people of Paradise.'
The same interpretation have other great sunni scholars like Al Wahidi and Al Qurtubi!!!!
Besides, Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi summarized it in a very straightforward way: "If Muslims had gotten rid of the punishment for apostasy, islam would not exist today!!!!"

    • @abdullahhussein3775

      HISmercies nbounties
I also want to refer from the islamic perspective to your statement "Christians have been lying for over 2000 years".
As islam doesnt believe that Jesus was crucified, it means that these would be not Christians that were lying but it would be Allah that lies and deceives people. And this is based on sura 4:156 that Jesus was not crucified, and yet an entire religion sprung from Jesus' death on the cross and subsequent resurrection. This is the central focus of Christianity. Allah however, makes it clear in the Qur'an that Jesus was not crucified (died) and he is not God's son, meaning that Christian's are in error to follow these beliefs. But why do Christians think he was crucified? Because Allah admits that he made it appear so: Qur'an 4:157-158.
So we see that Allah admits to making it appear (to the people) that Jesus was crucified on the cross (and died), and that Allah then raised Jesus to himself (ascended him to heaven). Therefore Allah admits to deceiving the people and in this sense laying to them!!! For the next 600 years, Allah sat back and watched all these people converting to, and following Christianity, so a religion that was started by his deception, but he did not bother to lift a finger to correct anything until 600 years later, when he imposingly sent Muhammad with the Quran to "sort out" the mess and liars that he himself had created.
This negates the entire purpose of sending Jesus. So Allah himself had corrupted the message of Jesus by making it appear that he had risen from the dead. So for 600 years, Allah's pure religion was not to be found on this Earth and now (thanks to Allah's deception) had two competing faiths to deceive the people and tempt them away from the 'straight path'. This makes no sense.
And regarding the Bible... your comment doesn't make sense either... Different headings?! OT refers to Old Testament/Torah, NW refers to Gospel/Injil. Both of them are part of the Bible.
Speaking about qurans. Qurans have different headings as well. Quran also has lots of translations. The translations into western European languages are very soft. For example one of the version of quran states after the word "beat" referring to beating of wives the word in "lightly" in brackets. This is a wishy washy!
By the way, there are 6 supposingly oldest Qur'ans: the Topkapi, Sammarqand, Ma'il, Husseini, Petropolitanus, and Sa'ana manuscripts, considered by scholars as the 6 earliest Qur'anic manuscripts in existence today. Two leading Muslim scholars researched them. Their names are Dr Ekmeledin Ehsonoglu, and Dr Tayyar Altikulic, the only scholars who have had any extensive contact with all 6 manuscripts, and have tabulated their findings in a book entilted: 'Al Mushaf al Sharif', which was published in 2009. They noted that none of these 6 manuscripts came from the 7th century, but only began to be written in the early 8th century, and continued on up into the 9th century. They also found that none of the 6 manuscripts were complete, that they didn't agree with each other, and that they had hundreds and sometimes thousands of manuscript variants betweeen them; and most troubling, none of the 6 manuscripts agreed entirely with the Qur'an we have today. So, they asked, where they did the Qur'an we have today come from, if not from these 6 manuscripts?
In fact, it has been proven that there are at least the 26 Qurans out there today. Mate, go to a islamic book shop and ask for a quran in a different reading that Hafs quran that is the most spread version of quran today . It was actually canonized just in 1924. Then you will see for yourself the differences in words, meanings and even in different numbers of surahs! This research was done by native Arab speakers. By the way, that is nothing really. The research is new but it has been prove years ago that there are different qurans.

Mitten State Picker Lisa B: I never think “husbands rape wives”. It is something that I never thought of your gentleman husband. But do ask him the following questions:
      1. Does he support Islam calling for slaughter of unbelievers [Quran(047:004)]?
      2. What does he think of Islam asking men to treat their women unequally?
      3. Islam does not accept evolution as a fact, even if it scientifically proven to be true. What does your husband say about this?
      4. Will you accept your husband indulging in polygamy, because Islam permits a man to do so?
      5. What about Freedom of Speech & Expression? Islam explicitly calls for punishment (that includes amputation, death & exile) if someone opposes the message of Islam or the messenger (Muhammad)[Quran(005:033)]?

I was raised Christian my whole life and these videos are so inspiring… I had gone through my own battles and questioning of things, similar to the way you did and wondering if you were just raised to believe a lie and was brainwashed, but Thanks to the LORD I had always maintained my belief in Jesus, when my faith was smaller, I still had my faith. And I went from someone who was living in sin and questioning things to now someone who is choosing righteousness, and of course I will fall at times but I know who is there to pick me up and who has forgiven me before I even came to him. Of course I am sure you know this but I would still like to encourage you to continue to pray for your family, to continue to love them and be the light. And remember the greatest way to show your faith is to live by it, let them see the change that God has created in you. They surely do see it, and it is surely having its affect, because from what I understand many Muslim people would disown their children for doing what you did. But you still have your parents and a relationship, so there is hope, so continue in faith and May their lives be changed, in Jesus’ mighty name, IMMANUEL: GOD WITH HS.

    • @MS88nyc
      @MS88nyc 8 месяцев назад

@@lufhopespeacefully2037 so I have been wondering this too as someone who grew up with the Trinity: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. And I have heard about the Nicene Creed written by the Catholic Church in 325 AD. I have heard rumors of the Trinity adopted originally to appease the pagan 3-gods they believed in. And I have scoured the Bible to try to find reference of the Trinity. Obviously the word “Trinity” is not present, not even once. And I was losing faith in this - not in God, not in the Father, not in the Holy Spirit - but rather this being a huge basis of what we are supposed to believe. I had questions: didn’t Moses see God in the burning bush? Didn’t Jacob wrestle God as he exclaimed he had seen God face to face (hence the word Israel - to wrestle with God). Didn’t Moses see God’s behind on the mountain top? So wouldn’t there be more than 3? But finally I had found the verse just last week: Matthew 28:19: 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Now as far as basing the whole “religion” around this concept: I still don’t know where I stand. And as far as using the word Trinity: well, it’s also hard for me to say. After all, that word came nearly 300 years after Jesus died. But the essence remains the same: God is the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. He was there in the beginning. He will be there in the end. He was in the burning bush and He lives in my heart. I don’t worry about this religious stuff. I am sure God won’t be upset about this little fact, saying: “son, I didn’t hear you use the word Trinity much..sorry, you can’t enter Heaven”. I don’t worry about that. I know that when He knocked, I opened that door. And I believe Jesus died for my sins so that I (and us all) may have everlasting life.
I hope this answers your questions well.

I came to Christ out of my background of atheism, and so my family thought I'd lost my mind completely. But, I think Islam is the hardest belief system on the planet from which to exit, simply because its brainwashing is reinforced with so many daily rituals and recitations. It must be so difficult to leave a belief that has so enslaved its votaries every waking minute. Those without the Spirit cannot understand the things of the Spirit. Discovering Christ can't be duplicated in a lab, because it's something that first penetrates our heart, then works to reform all our previous antiChrist behaviors. Christ works in us, and through us, and, sadly, sometimes in spite of us (speaking only for myself). I know you're in the prayers of many of us, Hossain, so cling to Matthew 5:16 as if our Lord included that verse just for you!
See you at the wedding feast, brother!

Will you worship Jesus, or the one Jesus worshiped?

Young (al-shabab) French Arab, The passage in Hebrews is talking about the human side of Jesus (yes Jesus had that side to him as well and trinitarians are perfectly fine with it and him still being God - it's called the hyperstatic union) that he willingly went under the law subject to the Father as anyone other person, meaning he also faced temptation as well.
Think about it who would be the perfect example to show us how to fight temptation God in the flesh or some man named Muhammad who saw his adopted wife nude and got turned on by it and she then started to get the hots for him to which Allah says yeah go ahead commit adultery. Which do you think would be the perfect example Jesus being God in the flesh or muhammad?
Judge by that and then you'll know the true religion from the false one.

Love builds and strengthens the relationships we have with our family members despite our differences. And in the long run, through our good conduct, they might be willing to listen or have a conversation or see the light of Christ in us. So, don't be too eager to convince them with words just yet (pray first),..... practice patience and love. One thing I would like to suggest is let the Holy Spirit lead you in terms of when you should let your parents know about your new faith in Christ. Don't depend solely on your financial situation or circumstances but through prayer and the leading of the Spirit make your faith known to them (in His leading). His timing is better than ours. FYI it is written in the koran. only by beleiving in JESUS that you will be save of your sins. praying five times a day and doing all other rituals will not erase your sins. My GOD hate sins, big or small. sin have no place in HEAVEN unlike what is taught in islam that by doing good will out weight the bad. and one can carry that sin to paradise. imagine how polluted islam's paradise is.

Akram Baig how is that? You are expected as a Christian to not do the same thing that your Quran tells you not to do except in Christianity we know God gave us Free Will and that is how God knows who truly is a Christian because we are not forced by law. Just like I know who my true friends are because nobody is forced heart told that they must do things for me. I know my true friends because they do things for me out of love without being told to do them. Christianity does not tell you that in order to obey God you must not have sex before you're married. It is merely a sin that you may ask for forgiveness. So when I die and am judged God will be able to say that I did not do that out of love respect and fear for Him. Not because I was told that if I did any of those things I was a lesser person. As a Christian We Believe in the same sins as you Muslims do. We just know that it's not our job to punish for someone else's sins. It's God's. We are not told to harm someone because they are sinners. We pray for them. Not all Muslims but many Muslims try to say they humble themselves while at the same time turn to a Christian to tell them how much better they are then them. Tell me how much pride do you think your God Allah allows you to have because if you ask me many has become quite narcissistic

      Sumon Bines-karki
That wasn't exactly what he meant, because he prayed repetitively in Mark and receives repetetive praises in Heaven from the living creatures.
You see, VAIN repetition, not repetition, is when you treat prayer as a mere checklist.
Pagans would recite names and prayers to appease the gods and if they forgot just one of them it could be very dangerous. There was no love or relationship, it was just a formality to move on with their lives.
      That is vain repetition.
Which is indeed what Muslims do.
Unlike traditional Christian prayers like the Rosary where we engage ourselves in a loving communication with God and the inhabitants of Heaven who are alive. And the solid substance of the prayer is the meditation on the mysteries(key gospel passages).

Exactly "traditional" prayer, as in man made traditions. Pray from the heart to God, not with a chain of beads, to saints and Mary. Btw all Catholic saints and Mary also, are rooted in pagan gods. Rome just changed the names of their gods to Christian names.

Vain repetition is something pagans do. It is evident in Islamic prayers with its pagan roots

Galenicals they also believe that they cant have the father without the son, and they also believe jesus is the son of God but they believe the father is the only God, jesus is his son and not God, and they have strong proves, the verse that says jehova is the only one true God in heaven, and on earth there is no God, jesus was on earth, does the verse say there is no God on earth except jesus?
and there are other verses, jesus said the father is the only one true God, he is my God and your God, and jesus said he is the servant of God, I am not saying Jehovah's witnesses are right, but they are closer to the truth than the others, who says jesus is God is the biggest liar.

taoufik ayad No they aren't. You and JW agree with each other cause both of you are CULTS. You both are products of heresy. Nestorian Christian heresies were prevalent during Muhammad's time and it influenced what became as Islam creed. The Apostles of Jesus - Jewish believers of their Messiah would've rejected Jehovah's Witnesses and Muslim faith. You really do not understand the spiritual context of Christianity nor do you ever know who God is and why He had to do what He did when He came down to Earth. But you are blind in spirit so you can *never* understand all these things of God.

As children we believe what we are told. I was blessed to grow up in the church and believed everything I was told. When I became an older adult, I felt to question some things. Which made my relationship with God better, because I actually studied the scriptures for myself “instead “ of believing everything I heard. Even in the church there are false teachers, these teachers are just as demonic as pagan religions. Therefore it’s always good whatever you are told to search the truth for oneself. May God Bless you for your steadfastness in the faith.

1nemind I've shared your videos with students in my religious studies. We describe - compare -interpret and explain religion focusing on systematic - historically based and multi cultural perspectives. Your worldview along with are late brother Nabeels are highly respected. I've seen you study God's Word and I know you spend time in prayer - You're an example how ones relationship with God grows and begins to truly understand God's character. Its obvious you have put yourself in the right place to hear God's instruction for other areas of your life.
If we're serious about following God's will, we have to recognize that it's not about getting what we want, but doing what God asks. We must trust that He is faithful and good, and that His will is what's best for us. Its so encouraging to see you deliver your ministry first and for most from love. I will be following and praying for you my dear brother.
      1 John 2
7Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. 8Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, *because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining* 9Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. 10Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. 11But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.
