- Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport was officially opened on August 12, 2021. The airport is the first 4f International Airport with the highest civil aviation level in Shandong Province and the first multi runway airport in Shandong Province. Its international and regional destinations are connected to about 50 cities around the world. It is an important international hub airport in Northeast Asia. It is equivalent to Beijing Daxing International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport.

I like the new qingdao airport but it sadly does not have the outside parks like daxing 😔😔 since the parks at the end of each terminal in daxing make it better

Is this airport foreigner friendly? I was at Beijing airport and it was so hard to find an English speaking employee when my flight got messed up.
Maybe you should go to the international departure&arrival and ask the staff at the information desk for English information.Most Chinese employees have poor English, even in Beijing
@@Ontheroad2021 there were no English signs at that time. I came out of the security line and missed my flight because the first plane took off late.
@@chltmdwp I can't imagine the situation you encountered. All the guidelines at Beijing's airport are bilingual in Chinese and English. Next time, you can find someone who looks like a college student，generally, they can speak a few simple English, or at least they can give you a direction.

I was at Jiadong a few days after it opened. It's nothing like either Beijing airport. If he experience of Qingdao Metro is anything to judge by, the service will be excellent.
