actually his first attempts didn't go well....I think he ran off stage and cried...because he got boo'd....and even Sam Kinison told him that comedy wasn't for him.
I believe he was a natural story teller but its still a skill he worked on....a great lesson in its self....even the "naturals" have to practice to hone that skill....plus he never gave up.
