Ok I’m (finally) here with my thoughts on ur most recent gameplay of scythe :) Imma just put them in bullet points to organize my thoughts: - Firstly, the main thing I want to point out is ur love for the Gun form of Scythe. I never really see you switch to it other than using it entirely for its movement capabilities or as a last resort. Because of it, I feel you play a bit too passively, closer to how Hyperlaser would be played. You should use Scythe form more! Your aim is indeed good, but Harvest (M1) is also really good as an M1. Not only does it gain you bullets, the damage is consistent and can sometimes be even better for many other reasons. Let’s just say that something the game doesn’t tell you is that tip hit damage scales up with the current health of the enemy you’re hitting. On tanks, you can do upwards of 25-35 per tipped swing, pretty much rivaling Let ‘Er Rips damage. Generally, reconsider going for more aggression with this move in games, and see where it gets you :> - Towards movement with Scythe form, there’s this tech I would call extended chasing flourish (E). It’s where you cancel chasing flourish’s spin by clicking M1. Instead of pausing there, spinning, and sending you up, you instead propel yourself vertically further, about doubling the distance you can cover vertically. Make use of this when needing to disengage, escape, or conversely chase and catch up with enemies. - I see you attempting to use Bull’s-eye (Q) in some of these games. Please, please don’t use this move. It’s actually kind of an unviable ability, due to the long charge, ability to miss all damage and waste a ton of ammo you racked up as a result, the bound after firing making you vulnerable when used in an encounter, the stun only applying at 66% charge, the weird hit registration with the move, etc. Yeah lol. - The part at the 1 minute left of the last game where you run out Stalking Ambush is kinda funny ngl TvT Ok that’s all I have to say. Have a good one :]
I appreciate you writing all this out i'll try some of these whenever I start playing scythe again. but 1 thing: I don't see a reason to use scythe mode when rifle's dps is just.. better? rifle has more dps than scythe in all situations. only reason to use scythe mode is to save ammo ruclips.net/video/PaFOTHOnBrY/видео.html
@@lavakitty89 ohhh.. huh. That’s an interesting observation from actual dps testing that I’ve never seen the side of. This has opened my eyes, and the private video recording was really helpful too. I appreciate you going out of ur way to bring this to my attention. I’ve never thought to test the damage output over time myself (only just the numbers per hit), so I’ll add/change that in my guide info. Also, some of the info here might be different from my opinion now. I know it’s only been 11 days so far, but I’ve recently gotten to interact with people in Scythe Sanctuary, a thread community in the Boggio discord forum channel made for Scythe enjoyers apparently :] it’s also where I’m planning to post my scythe guide once it’s done, so yea :D but going back to that, the discussion I’ve had there has changed my opinion on some things abt scythe that I’ve listed here in my og comment, but I’m appreciating the advice and knowledge being given to me by others. And again, thx for the reply comment, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with me, since it’s quite valuable. I hope u have a nice day today lavakitty :>
rocket: reload rework is fun. it's a gimmick that no other phighter has and I really like it. it still needs a few tweaks but it's excellent. Don't like the passive nerf, rocket's passive is slowly becoming another one of those passives where it gives a tiny effect that doesn't really matter. A lot of the phighters suffer from having a passive that has too small of an impact or isn't interactive enough. skate: need to play it more medkit: phenomenal changes. auto aim removal is something I've always wanted, medkit's healing was too high for the amount of skill it took to heal a teammate. It was annoying to fight against. And now with the 16 damage headshots... dps medkit is backkkkk haven't tried medkit yet but yeah it sounds good to me
@@lavakitty89 can upload a Medkit vid on a full private server with those changes? Doesn't have to be mvp I just wanna watch your medkit gameplay again with the newest changes since you're so positive abt them
@@Saltsour aight after playing him for a bit, realized the attack speed nerf hit him way harder than I thought it would. I still like the change, but I think it'd be a lot better if the attack speed got toned back up. As for the vid idk when it'll happen, didn't get into medkit cause his dps is still underwhelming
@@jamezjamez5572 it's more of something I don't like than a "problem" most passives aren't that interactive or powerful. for example slingshot: his passive isn't weak but it's kinda boring. it's good for getting away from melee enemies but that's kinda it. instead, what if you got 10% haste whenever you use a move that lasts until you get hit? infinitely stackable but you lose all stacks when you get hit. sounds more interactive and fun to me. just my thoughts on the matter. some people may like how it is now, or may like my idea more.
For a long time I’ve been trying to analyse how pro scythe players use scythe so I can be worthy of her. It’s hard for me to keep notes but think you might be able to tell me how you use scythe?

it is a damn WONDER that you weren't targeted almost at all during that second round while being in rifle mode almost all the time

it was like a skin idk which one
