I've got to admit, it really was a swell idea to add in additonal NAVY BLUE bumpers to this making it a perfect match with the FP logo.

You're good at taking my ideas and making them a reality.

@@newator7240 I agree with you, and I reconsidered the idea, replaced the Lion King idea with The Aristocats, which was originally theatrically released in 1970.

@@newator7240 And I was thinking of this as well. We could replace the Columbia TriStar trailer for 3 Ninjas Kick Back with a trailer for the Masterpiece Collection, which will be the same as the version used on Masterpiece Collection tapes from late 1994-early 1995, except this time, Mark Ellott says "And coming soon, you can find them by looking for our collection". since the Masterpiece Collection didn't exist until 2 months later in 1994. Wouldn't that be better?

@@newator7240 I also thought of this. What if: At the beginning of the Masterpiece Collection promo, it has the logo for it, with its reorchestrated remix of the Classics music, except, after the finished logo appears, it freezes to the music from the trailer instead of the logo fading out. This could be the only tape (and only time ever aside from early prints from Pocahontas) we can see both the Masterpiece Collection logo (before the trailer), and the Walt Disney Classics logo with sorcerer Mickey (after the Feature Presentation screen)

@@newator7240 Wow. What were your thoughts on the idea of a rare Black Diamond Classics edition of The Lion King, released in August 17, 1994? It might have been interesting and weird to contain a Columbia TriStar trailer for 3 Ninjas Kick Back on a Disney release. But recently, Sony has owned the rights to Disney movies, taking over from Buena Vista.

I think it would have been too soon to release a VHS of "The Lion King," so I would find an alternative.
As for the "3 Ninjas" trailer, it would make more sense if Columbia TriStar distributed the tape. I'd put the CT Home Video logo at the front.

One thing I would've used for the custom Coming to Videocassette bumper is the Mark Elliot should say "Coming Soon from Walt Disney Home Video."

If only "The Rescuers" would have had the Carpenters sing the music in the movie, then it would have been way more fun!
