When you mention "cardstock", can you tell me exactly what that is, like its weight or thickness etc. We seem to have different names for papers/card etc here in Australia and I want to make sure I purchase the correct thing. thank you. Im addicted to your videos and just love that I can actually follow what you are doing. So wonderful. love love love love love love.
cardstock is the solid colored cardstock (like the white) you see in the album. I did use heavier weight cardstock in this album. I don't know the gsm, but do know it's 110 lb weight. If you are unsure, go to your craft store and feel the paper if you can. If you cannot come up with 110 lb or heavy weight cardstock, you can use a lesser weight, but just don't use cheap computer paper type stuff. it will tear. The white cardstock is 110 lb. Google 80 lb and 65 lb you should be okay using either of those.. Also, when I made the tutorial, I used the lilac flowers paper. If you use something else it's going to come out different looking because you'll have different print.. I think it'll be amazing. Here's a tip when using different paper and taking my tutorials. If I reach for a new designer paper from the pack, you should be too. If i'm reaching into my scrap pile (reserves), you should be too. I would LOVE to see your album when you are done.
