Hey wes i would like to start by thanking you for getting me into the wonderfuk lore of the grimdark and l would like to ask you what you think of the prologue to the book im writing about short fan stories about the 40k universe thanks again. Gnash begins her grueling task going from home to home dragging a cart behind her taking the dead from each household. She finishes her rounds and begins her journey back to the incinerator, she stops at the checkpoint to catalog the number of the dead she collected today. 64 dead, 20% up from last month, Gnash sighs in defeat knowing that the future of her people is bleak and that her planet is dying. She deposits the dead in the burn room and seals the blast door then initiates the process of incineration. She makes her way out of the building and heads home stopping at a market to pick up some food. When Gansh gets home she unties her boots and places them at the door before riding herself off her cumbersome uniform. She then sits at the chair that she spends all of her waking free time at and throws herself into her studies desperately clawing at her research hoping to find something or one little detail that would explain who she sees in her dreams every night. After many hours her eyes began to weigh heavier with every blink her mind slowing down. She shambles toward her bed collapsing with exhaustion and quickly falls into a slumber. She begins to dream the same dream of the same and his gaze beckoning her his nonchalant yet serious and confident he outstretched his hand and then she wakes. With her wits barely about her she peels her face off the bed, she notices screaming and distant gunfire mixed with the roar of engines. She jumps out of bed scrambling to clothe herself and runs outside. She looks around, her village burning caught in a blaze of epic proportions, the heat curling the hair on her face, watering her eyes. She looks to the left and sees her people running. She sprints after them, her mind racing; she hears a horrid screech of hundreds of engines getting closer with each stride she makes. Until at last she reaches a battlefield her planet's guard locked in a losing battle with an enemy the likes of which the planet has never seen. Men clad in armor like that of the man in her dream, each one of them many times larger than a normal human and many times more dangerous. She stands there dumbfounded as these god-like men rip through her kin with roaring swords of chains and teeth. She watches as the last ember of resistance her planet could muster is snuffed out violently. The gargantuan men examine the dead before chanting “for the emperor” and then charging in the other direction towards the center of town. Gnash stands mentally broken having witnessed the slaughter of her fellow man at the hands of giant men wearing armor like that of the stalker of her dreams. She collapses onto the ground retching with grief, her planet burning for crimes that they did not understand. What Gnash and her people didn't know was that their planet salara was being liberated by the holy warriors of the god emperor, the space marines. Sent here to spread the imperium across the galaxy like they had done to hundreds of other planets just like this one. Purging the primitive natives and building great cities upon their ashes. As described here, the "one weakness" of military hubris, to allow defeated commanders to live after lost battles, isn't weakness in Imotekh's eyes at all. It instead comes from his understanding of mortals' thought processes. A dead commander is a martyr to be revered, or cautionary case study for other commanders to learn from. However, a living commander after defeat presents an awkward problem for his colleagues, or several problems. He is either cowed into submission or dismay from witnessing firsthand the relentless campaign of Imotekh, or driven to a frenzied revenge obsession as in the Black Templar's case. Both options send a clear message to Imotekh's foes, and both options potentially tie up resources and focus as they have to deal with whatever consequences and baggage the defeated commanders bring back. One of the few places I could see this backfiring in Imotekh's face is if he releases a defeated commander who can actually analyze their own mistakes, see clearly Imotekh's strategy, learn from the defeat, and can get the resources together to pose a true threat next time around.

I love the Spooky Robot people. The Necrons are awesome and I hope we get more lore on them. They have some of the funniest bits of lore to happen in 40k. I think when the Silent King comes back, there might not be a fight between him and Imotekh. However I don't think even Imotekh would be able to stand up to the Silent King even if they did fight. This guy puts his people to sleep but does not join them and leaves the Galaxy for those 60+ million years. This guy is going to have some insane stuff at his disposal that not even Imotekh will have access to. Szarekh was the King for a reason. He may not have always made the best choice but he did what he did for the survival of his people. His actions allowed the Necrons to rival the Old Ones and see to the shattering of the Star Gods themselves. Szarekh isn't just The Silent King, he is The King. The only living being that could rival The God Emperor himself. Szarekh coming back will have a massive impact on the entire setting. It would be like Big E suddenly being able to leave the Golden Throne. Shit is about to go down and I am all for it. I have a mighty need for that book. Imotekh will look upon Szarekh and know fear, fear of the unknown that not even his mind can comprehend, that not even his mind can predict which action the Silent King will take. I think if anyone could match Imotekh in battle alive or dead it would be Sanguinius. His martial prowess was second to none "Save Big E Himself" and his abilities might give him the possible chance to hit Imotekh when he tries to phase out of reality. Also his presence on the battlefield would prevent fear from over taking the people he is with, from normal humans all the way up to battle hardened Astartes. I love these deep dives on characters. Fantastic video as always Wes!
The best thing about the infinite and the divine is the fact that rather than attacking orikan for stealing from him, trazyn proceeds to rage study ancient necron law and effectively sue orikan. I love that book so much.
I think they might be waiting for THAT moment in canon (when The Silent King and Imotekh meet again for the first time in 60+ million years) to write his/their books. They may do something similar to Infinite And Divine, where they switch back and forth somewhat between the two, perhaps leaning more towards one of them in one book, and the other in a subsequent book. Because you can't tell me they're gonna be able to wrap that story up in a single book. EITHER WAY, fantastic video, I enjoyed it immensely, and it added context to that trial scene I was lacking previously. Thank you! 🤩
Imotekh is cool and all, but I want to see more love for my favorite mad Necron Zahndrekh! He's hilarious, a brilliant strategist, an honorable combatant, and (partially a ruse I know) completely insane.
@@nimmha6708 The current lore is that he plays at being insane to throw off the other members of the Necron upper crust, as well as to accept his fate as an immortal soulless machine. He'd rather stay true to his roots as an honorable warrior than debase himself as many of his kin have, and if others mistake his idiosyncrasies for insanity, he's more than willing to play into that ruse to live as he wishes.
@@ageansai6067 It's the truth in that he says as much to Obyron (his bodyguard and most loyal soldier) on page 121 in the novella Severed, though it's worded and portrayed in such a way as to make both interpretations technically valid based on what he says. It's not just for the sake of his honor/political standing that he acts like he does, but also because he misses the sensations and pleasures of the body so keenly as to act as though he was still alive just to preserve the illusion of being flesh and blood, rather than his depressing reality as a soulless necrodermis husk. It's a coping mechanism for what is thought to be impossible, a return to their previous lives as Necrontyr by reversing biotransference, which is a major plot point for the book and its antagonist.
If I remember correctly the sautekh’s original phaeron was assassinated by either the eldar or someone else, in infinite and divine it’s mentioned by a triarch praetorian gave her apologies to Orikan for his phaerons assassination
I think he could destroy a Tyranid swarm (and that’s with them being my favourite army). The swarm might seem to act randomly, but the hive mind has a plan on how to conquer and devour worlds. I’m sure the storm lord will work out what the tactic is and counter it.
Now I love my Craftworld Kin ,Exodites and most importantly my Harlequins....but this dude is on a whole other level of Badass...Necrons are just dread incarnate, I respect the shit outta them
It would be funny to think that just before the war in heaven ended that the old ones knew they couldn't win by logic so they turned the necrons biggest strength into a weakness by devolving Krorks into Orks. Just a funny thought of the final middle finger for an undying race to fight a chaoticly random ever spawning menace
@@timdillon4876 What he's trying to say is that orks are significantly dumber and more eratic than the krorks were, making them ironically a bigger threat to the Necrons who rely on hard logic to determine military strategy. The old "the enemy can't know what we're doing if WE don't know what we're doing" trick
I appreciate you greatly. Although you don't take the immersive route of displaying lore you straight up talk about the individuals or events as they are, have been, or presumed. Straight forward and clear to the point which is refreshing when my time is limited. On another note you seem to cover content mostly glossed over by other lore enthusiasts which is very uplifting. As my right by the Inquisition I ask you to cover the events surrounding the Night Reapers Renagade chapter. I know much of them as they are my favorite but I believe others should know what threat they could have posed if they were not thwarted by the Grey Knights and Minotaurs. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
Thanks! I read a lot of the novels so I try to pull from those for my videos. I think other creators tend to use the codexs and supplements more than I do. And I'll be honest I've never heard of this chapter I'll have to look into them!
My first WH paint project was some Chaos Space Marines about a year ago, but they were quickly followed by a lot of Necrons. I painted some warriors, some immortals/deathmarks, and acquired some more elite units to paint down the line like Overlords and Skorpekh Destroyers. Then I ordered a Imotekh the Storm Lord model. I was so disappointed by his model compared to all the other necron models, it kinda made me stop wanting to paint for 6+ months. Such a crummy "finecast" model where it needed so much shaved off it, and that the glue I'd been using for other models just didn't seem to work on, it was very frustrating. Hurry up and give Imotekh a new model GW!
the only time i have heard about a necron behaving casually around imothek was in the novella about Nemessor Zandrekh, all other necrons (except perhaps the silent king and trazyn who tried to steal his staff) are truly scared of him
As a former Chef, I love watching your lore vids whilst prepping/cooking. Your visuals are a beautiful accompaniment, sucking me more into your retelling of the stories from the grimdark and ages before... ohhhhh shit... yeah, that was my fingernail, not the potato... all good, just the nail this time...
If Imothek is a lesser swordsman than a named Black Templar (was able to win due to necron cheats), he has no chance against Szarekh. The dude killed a C'tan and made it's corpse into his phone charger!
8:55 something about them postponing the court for ten thousand years as if its a week is so funny to me. i know that it might as well be a few days to them, but it still highlights the absurd over the top nature of 40k i love so much
trazyn is waaay scarier than imotekh. with all the garbage hes stolen he could create 20 extinction level invasions at the same time and he has hundreds of stolen mindshacked armies to support them. but that would mean losing pieces of his collection lol. but the scariest thing about trazyn is that hes behind you right now stealing all your stuff.
I’m not big into Necrons but Trazyn the infinite has to be one of my favourite characters just in general. A powerful Necron who uses that power to travel the galaxy collecting everything. I think it’s hilarious and I love him.
I got worried when the videos slowed a bit, to see you pumping then back out there warms my synthetic chemically enhanced heart(s). All hail the wes'pire!
Hasn't Imotekh lined himself up to be one of the most likely candidates to be the next Silent King if Szarek is ever slain or overthrown? I think Trayzn could beat Imotekh, not through strength of arms, but through guile. I don't think our favorite "gotta catch'em all" spooky robot wouldn't seek to destroy him, but seek to humiliate him. The guy has enough plots and schemes to make Tzeench take pause for a moment.
Theoretically, Trazyn COULD, but in actuality he doesn't want Solemance to become floating debris so nah, no pissing off the Stormlord. Of course, if Szarek calls on him, who knows?
@@WildZephyrreleasing a custodes to take down a threat they face without telling imotek how powerful they are and then the custodes killing him would make sense enough for a a way trazin could kill him and get away with it (You can replace custodes with whatever you want but they were the first thing that came to my mind when I thought of things that could potentially take him down)
Plot twist : Immotekh know his enemy's strategy and how to combat them because when he awake he found a chess bot STC near him, he scan it and it give him such strategy so advance other Necron thinking he have psychic power
Fun fact: the Necron word Khuvu is a reference to the ancient Egyptian pharaoh named Khufu, he was the one who ordered the construction of the great pyramid of Egypt
I dont think they would ever join in alliance. Those two lead most powerfull dynasties, if they ever join forces for something more than some single battle against some chaos or tyranids, i dont think they could be stopped by any force in current 40k
@@crimzenwoffinden9973 why? Every necron can be reanimated, Trazyn got his nickname from it as he is so compatibile with it as he suffer no consequence from it and can do it basically... Infinite times.
All of my friends have been trying to get me into Warhammer, the issue is that I didn't know where or how to start, until now. I'm loving this faction the more I learn about them. Hope to get into the games and books here in the future.
Imotekh is the smartest and most ruthless leader whose genius made even the old ones think twice Also Imotekh: gets his ship boarded and destroys by the black templars which while not stupid, they aren’t know for being the sharpest tool the shed. They mostly use melee and plot armour
Noted. For future conflicts, enlist blood axe clans or freebooters. Utilize standard forces and let the orks do their thing while you do yours. Trap him between his logistics and unpredictability.
I'm not a super lore person, I'm still learning across 40k. But I remember Gothic Armada 2's necron campaign. Though the campaign is non canon and the Nepheru dynasty is non canon it's phearon was.... well.... pompous and full of himself. You are tasked early on with expanding your borders, but your Cryptek and yourself warn him that doing so would attract the gaze of the Aeldari before they've gotten their strength back. His response is something like "That would be the fault of your failure to keep us hidden, and not my command" he also blatently tells the cryptek to basically shut up and not talk to him again. After doing this the aeldari begin to invade as expected and you worry about having to inform the phearon about it, but your cyptek advises handling the problem before he can become aware. Once you fend off a few fleets the phearon contacts you and asks about his discovery of Aeldari intruders and it not being brought to his attention. Amarkan(You) tells him it was below his concern and the he shows a bit of suspicion, warning you not to let your pride over take you. But he still rewards you with a new fleet. You cyptek quietly says after the end of the conversation that 'this time he rewards you, but what about next time?' This seems to imply that the phearon was either better before or has become mad. The narrator also seems to imply this to at some point. So it might be implying the phearon also suffered negative effects that increased his ego and reduced his more logical and cautious attitude. Of course part way through the campaign you learn the Phearon is planning to sacrifice you or send you on a fools errand. I cannot quite remember. But you ultimatly realize that the phearon is going to lead the dynasty to ruin and must usurp him. I kinda like this idea of the great sleep effecting the necrons minds over time. Some did well having plenty of back up systems while others were not prepared and suffered. it gives them atleast some kind of weakness or instability to counter their god-like abilities that few races could really hope to match.
Somehow, I feel the Necron lores seem to be more epic than other factions (maybe except the ork lol). Would love to have a video focusing on Szarekh, although I heard his lore is lacking in quantity so...
I think it would be super interesting to see the lord of iron go up against imotekh. Theyve both been described as cold and calculating on a level that is impossible for mortals to comprehend.
I haven't played since 4th Ed. Just picked up the SM and bla k templar codex, printing up an army right now, pretty excited to try these 9th Ed rules. It's like a whole dif game now, lol
I think you will have a really good time with it. I played in 4th edition and 5th edition but skipped 6th and 7th because they were bad lol. But 8th edition was f****** amazing and felt like 4th edition. 9th edition is just 8th edition but with some extra stuff added onto it. (Kind of like what 5th edition was to 4th) Black templars are great! They're crusaders are ridiculous. When I play them I very frequently am able to kill nights with just a bunch of chain swords 😂 If you've got Grimaldius and helbreicht on the field, whatever is around them is crazy powerful. Vanguard vets with thunder, hammers and storm shields are probably your best unit.
Rouge Trader Varnael Larik: "Of all the races I have battled throughout the galaxy, the Ork is the hardest to comprehend. They wage war with machines that should not work, care little for strategic gains, and are just as likely to slaughter each other as the enemy. How does one battle an enemy that defies all logic?" Imotekh the Storm Lord: "RIGHT?!!!"🤬
The only person in fiction that I can think of that has the tactical genius even close to Imotekh is Master Xehanort from Kingdom Hearts. These 2 know their enemies' strategies before their enemies even come up with said strategies. It's kinda terrifying in all honesty.
Knowing that Guilliman is the only primarch that we know of being alive and active inside the 40k books, Can you make a video about every single loyalist primarch's whereabouts and clues about their return? Because all i can found is that they went off into the eye of terror or is just sleeping right now (poor Guilliman dealing with this shit alone.)
I have an army I’m building for Necrons and it centers around flayed ones, they are my absolute favorite and while the army may not be good I will have walls of flayed ones coming in!
Maaan. You're looking fantastic. And that shirt, fuckin dope. The long format was a great move. I'm glad i was on my 40k lore manic stage when you were starting up. Stay Blessed.
Next to the Tyranids I'd have to say the Necrons are my favourite 40K race. They're death incarnate when they fight but then there's that side of them which still can humourous. Such as a certain special Necron kleptomaniac......
Trazcsyn the Infinite will ALWAYS be my favorite. I would love to steal...I mean..."liberate" ancient things with him. 🤣 Imotekh the StormLord is such a BADASS name though and I want his weapon!
I to heavily play necrons, them being my second favorite faction next to chaos as a whole. My own custom dynasty has an overlord a bit like Imotekh in he wants to conquer everything and have his name outshine all other lords that came before him, however his battle strategy is much more conservative. Instead of using warriors and immortals like most dynasties, unless he's fighting specifically other necrons, he will show nothing more than utter distain for the lesser species and instead choose to spend the lives of his destroyers and flayed ones, so as to not a single necron life may even be accidentally snuffed. He will also employ his crypteks to unleash their canoptek devices to support the destroyers and flayed ones. On the table top I reflect this by using those units a lot, especially since they are among my favorites in the necron range.
The Black Library CANNOT give you a novel about Imotekh that does justice to his claims of intelligence because no human author knows how someone 'smarter than any human could ever be' would act.
Love the Necron as a race and their Lore. But I dont know enough to have a favorite. Their concept of immortality and body switching is most fascinating however.
I have a pretty interesting theory. Please correct me if it's dumb. Humans, orks and eldar all have the same morphology. I always thought the old ones refusal to help the necrons was stupid. So what if the old ones did help. Fixed their bad DNA. Created the eldar as perfect necros. Now, that is realistically the only way to save the unlucky creatures. However, the selfish don't care for the future of their race only themselves. So given a solution that did not save the powerful and the wealthy they marched forth to destroy everything
They very well could have. The reality is we just really don't know what happened. And what we've been told most likely came from a necron as its source. So it's also very possible that the war in heaven played out in a completely different way than the way we think it did. I've heard some people theorize that the old ones could very clearly see what the neckrons would become if they were made immortal or were allowed to flourish. And to be fair... You look at them now. They wouldn't have been wrong 😅
Immotekh in the lore: One of the most intelligent and terrifyingly powerful generals in possibly the most powerful race in all of 40k who has never lost a campaign. Immotekh in game: 85 pt leader with no leader bonuses :D
I for sure think Imotekh is in the top 5 generals in Warhammer 40K. Maybe I’m too willing to give Farsight credit but where Imotekh has had millennia for experience and two centuries to unite his people via conquest and using Necron society to his advantage, Farsight has had maybe 60 years TOTAL to go completely against Tau society and start the Farsight Enclaves.
imo the most feared should be the gardeners of creation with their celestial orrery. The necron house consider themselves the good guys, but the fact they can have a device that can snuff out a solar system should be feared.
Trazyn wins every fight, he just throws pokeballs until he opens the right one to solve his problem, then has to go refill his pokeballs. (Which honestly is more fun that opening pokeballs, because the fun is in the acquisition.)
Thanks! I also have ADD, and since I make the content that I personally would want to watch, maybe I secretly make content for other people with ADD who like Warhammer! 😅
True one who feared by all and one eho get trolled by trazyn lol and i am sure any chaos god can just squish him and i am sure imotek will wet his engine when he will see malal face and vashtorr is strong enough to twist him and tear imotek apart
You won't be disappointed! Infinite in the Divine has a much more humorous tone, whereas the twice dead King is a lot more serious. But they are both fantastic representations of the necrons!
Because I want more. I can relate. I started Necrons in 3rd edition. And there’s wasn’t much lore there, one other book Nightbringer where the ultramarines woke up the C’Tan of death

“Court is now adjourned for 10000 years!” 💀
I think they might be waiting for THAT moment in canon (when The Silent King and Imotekh meet again for the first time in 60+ million years) to write his/their books.
Thank you! 🤩
the Silence and the Storm
The Calm Before the Storm
Imotekh is cool and all, but I want to see more love for my favorite mad Necron Zahndrekh! He's hilarious, a brilliant strategist, an honorable combatant, and (partially a ruse I know) completely insane.
Is it known if he PLAYS being insane or is he really? I've read something about that theory but the truth was unknown back then...
@@jacobanderson8219 Is that confirmed? I always read his moments of clarity as similar to real life patients of Alzheimer's
Really?? I don't remember that line I'll have to open it back up and track it down. That's super interesting!
Yes lol yes he was
So it would be Imothek versing Ghazkull having the potential for a really interesting story.
He may not have beef defeated but Hellbrecht did send his favourite tomb ship into a sun.
I would like to see him against the armies of Tzeentch, as well as the Tyranids.
I think he could destroy a Tyranid swarm (and that’s with them being my favourite army). The swarm might seem to act randomly, but the hive mind has a plan on how to conquer and devour worlds.
I’m sure the storm lord will work out what the tactic is and counter it.
Now I love my Craftworld Kin ,Exodites and most importantly my Harlequins....but this dude is on a whole other level of Badass...Necrons are just dread incarnate, I respect the shit outta them
I pretty much love the Design of the Deathmarks, just so damn aesthetic and badass
It would be funny to think that just before the war in heaven ended that the old ones knew they couldn't win by logic so they turned the necrons biggest strength into a weakness by devolving Krorks into Orks. Just a funny thought of the final middle finger for an undying race to fight a chaoticly random ever spawning menace
unlikely cuz they were winning.
Arent the krorks superior in every way why would they do that
@@timdillon4876 Because they didnt
thats why
@@timdillon4876 What he's trying to say is that orks are significantly dumber and more eratic than the krorks were, making them ironically a bigger threat to the Necrons who rely on hard logic to determine military strategy.
I never heard of him until I watch your video weshammer. Thank u for telling me the lore about this scariest necron on the WH40K universe.
Anrakyr, the Traveler. In TTG he’s one of the few named characters i would take, and his lore is brutal.
I appreciate 40k summaries that run less than an hour+. Thank you.
Aw yeah! New Weshammer deep dive!, I swear every other day Wes is rolling out another zoggin' banger!
If Imothek is a lesser swordsman than a named Black Templar (was able to win due to necron cheats), he has no chance against Szarekh. The dude killed a C'tan and made it's corpse into his phone charger!
Oh wow, Imhotekh went all Settra the Imperishable on those would-be rulers!
“Imhotep does not bow! Imhotekh rules!”
I haven't watched your channel in a while but it's awesome to see how successful it's become. Congrats
The one they all fear

trazyn is waaay scarier than imotekh. with all the garbage hes stolen he could create 20 extinction level invasions at the same time and he has hundreds of stolen mindshacked armies to support them. but that would mean losing pieces of his collection lol. but the scariest thing about trazyn is that hes behind you right now stealing all your stuff.
I just had a big-brain moment and realized that the name IMOTEKH is like IMHOTEP from ancient Egypt! 😱 I’m so proud of myself!
Proud of ya big guy. Get yourself an extra snack when youre in the kitchen next time, you deserve it.
I’m not big into Necrons but Trazyn the infinite has to be one of my favourite characters just in general. A powerful Necron who uses that power to travel the galaxy collecting everything. I think it’s hilarious and I love him.
I just bought a fully painted army with this necron. So cool to see you made a video of him!
I got worried when the videos slowed a bit, to see you pumping then back out there warms my synthetic chemically enhanced heart(s). All hail the wes'pire!
I caught a pretty nasty flu that lasted like 10 days so I took some time off 😅 back in the studio now!
I was just searching for a video on him! Perfect timing yet again Wes!
@@WildZephyrreleasing a custodes to take down a threat they face without telling imotek how powerful they are and then the custodes killing him would make sense enough for a a way trazin could kill him and get away with it

Plot twist :
Immotekh know his enemy's strategy and how to combat them because when he awake he found a chess bot STC near him, he scan it and it give him such strategy so advance other Necron thinking he have psychic power
I am still pissed that Helbrecht could fight him for a while in Combat. Overlords, expecially named ones should kill space Marines with their Pinkie.
Fun fact: the Necron word Khuvu is a reference to the ancient Egyptian pharaoh named Khufu, he was the one who ordered the construction of the great pyramid of Egypt
Heck yes! Will he ally with the Silent King? Imotekh needs a new model!
Honestly he is more likely to declare war on him 😅
I dont think they would ever join in alliance. Those two lead most powerfull dynasties, if they ever join forces for something more than some single battle against some chaos or tyranids, i dont think they could be stopped by any force in current 40k

In his strengths he's basically the Necron Guilliman, I think they'll come along just fine.
Loved this video. You make it easy to want to get into this universe! 😎
All of my friends have been trying to get me into Warhammer, the issue is that I didn't know where or how to start, until now. I'm loving this faction the more I learn about them. Hope to get into the games and books here in the future.
Great video, guy seams for my to be master general like Trawn in Star Wars.
Imotekh is the smartest and most ruthless leader whose genius made even the old ones think twice
Also Imotekh: gets his ship boarded and destroys by the black templars which while not stupid, they aren’t know for being the sharpest tool the shed.
They mostly use melee and plot armour
Would definitely love to see you cover Anrakyr the Traveler sometime down the road.
I don't know much about Necrons. Definitely my weakest lore subject. But trying to get into them more. Fantastic video!
You cyptek quietly says after the end of the conversation that 'this time he rewards you, but what about next time?'
This seems to imply that the phearon was either better before or has become mad.
Another great video as usual.10/10
(Kind of like what 5th edition was to 4th)
Black templars are great! They're crusaders are ridiculous. When I play them I very frequently am able to kill nights with just a bunch of chain swords 😂 If you've got Grimaldius and helbreicht on the field, whatever is around them is crazy powerful.
Vanguard vets with thunder, hammers and storm shields are probably your best unit.
he might actually be killed off by orks considering if they keep hearing how brutal he is, n start chasing him... after they avenge ol'bale eye tho.
Rouge Trader Varnael Larik: "Of all the races I have battled throughout the galaxy, the Ork is the hardest to comprehend. They wage war with machines that should not work, care little for strategic gains, and are just as likely to slaughter each other as the enemy. How does one battle an enemy that defies all logic?"
Imotekh the Storm Lord: "RIGHT?!!!"🤬
Alpharius or Gilligan vs the Storm Lord would be pretty fucking epic.
You know someone is a total badass when they hav the same tag line as the doom slayer to describe them
I take it in classic warhammer 40K fashion that as massively powerful this guy is he'd shit metal bricks at having to face The Silent King
I have an army I’m building for Necrons and it centers around flayed ones, they are my absolute favorite and while the army may not be good I will have walls of flayed ones coming in!
You have no idea how terrified I am that Black Library's gonna one day make him lose to like, Logan Grimnar or something.
Such as a certain special Necron kleptomaniac......
agree def favorites, all the necron books are awesome but so few, we need more
Trazcsyn the Infinite will ALWAYS be my favorite. I would love to steal...I mean..."liberate" ancient things with him. 🤣 Imotekh the StormLord is such a BADASS name though and I want his weapon!
Woo! Necron appreciation time!
So what does he do on the weekend? When he's relaxing? I can imagine space marines kick back .
“Necron court room drama” is the best idea for a tv show.
Recess for 10 thousands years. Do they also have dancing tech lobsters
Can't wait big big G and Tau lore interactions
Amazing vod as always 👏👏👏👏
The Emperor of Necronkind
The Black Library CANNOT give you a novel about Imotekh that does justice to his claims of intelligence because no human author knows how someone 'smarter than any human could ever be' would act.
OH! Imotekh sounds like a Mentat from DUNE! And, the Necron Courts of law had drama, just like anyone else, WOW!
Ah my second favourite necron after trazyn
Love the Necron as a race and their Lore. But I dont know enough to have a favorite. Their concept of immortality and body switching is most fascinating however.
Honestly I’d love to see these two legendary Necrons make peace and agree to work together.
Imotekh the prick vs Helbrecht finale would be amazing.
And yes the war in between him and szarekh is for sure comming now with he's 10th Ed model confirmed
Spooky scary necrons
Immotekh in the lore: One of the most intelligent and terrifyingly powerful generals in possibly the most powerful race in all of 40k who has never lost a campaign.
Immotekh in game: 85 pt leader with no leader bonuses :D
Necrons are my favorite Xenos and characters like Imotek, the Silent King, amd such are why.
Except for Trayzn... Dude has been planning to steal the Storm lord's staff for the last few centuries. Haha.
The black templar chapter master got his revenge and cut off one of the stormlord's hands as well as blowing up the storm lord's capital ship.
Oh I don’t know, but Lord Trazyn did try to steal his shit at least once.
imo the most feared should be the gardeners of creation with their celestial orrery. The necron house consider themselves the good guys, but the fact they can have a device that can snuff out a solar system should be feared.
Holy shot bro! Lookin good! Been hittin the gym
Thanks! Nah just eating better. I really need to get back to the gym tho. Content production takes up all of my time 😅
Trazyn wins every fight, he just throws pokeballs until he opens the right one to solve his problem, then has to go refill his pokeballs. (Which honestly is more fun that opening pokeballs, because the fun is in the acquisition.)
He hates orks.
Now I imagine him throwing a temper tantrum because an ork Waagh appeared during one of his attacks.
