    Hi, I have a Rutus Alter 71 that I really like, but I want something more modern with multifrequency, in your opinion, do you think that the Rutus versa is on the same level as Deus 2, Minelab nox 900, Manticore.

      Hey Richard, if you tweak a program it stores your changes but currently doesn't have space for your own like the Atrex did. Have mentioned it to Rutus so hoping it could feature in a future software release.

    Hi Tony would the Mars Goliath 15” coil work on this detector would you know as I've seen you using the Alta 71 coil on the versa. Just curious as I would like to get a larger coil for my versa :) thanks for any advice

    • @tcDetects
      @tcDetects  11 месяцев назад

      Hi Chris, the MARS Goliath doesn't work on the Versa and neither does any Atrex or Alter 71 coils I'm afraid, different technology and broader frequency ranges. The smaller coil that I use on the Versa isn't from the Alter 71 either, it's specific to the Versa - which has 2 coils so far, the 28cm and 23cm coils.

    Hello, thank you for the video. Iam a militaria searcher and iam looking to get a new detector. Iam currently using the Alter71 but iam doubting between de Versa, Atrex and de XP Deus 1. Considering your experience with different machines could you give some advice on which one is best? Also when it comes to depth? Also i noticed on the versa it does have the indication line but i dont see iron, foil, gold and silver like the Alter71 and the Atrex has. Thank you in advance.

    • @tcDetects
      @tcDetects  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for watching the video. On your question, I would say that for larger deeper targets then the Versa and Atrex will be similar in-depth as it is the higher end of the frequencies that have increased. Personally if looking for larger, deeper targets I would consider an Atrex with a Goliath coil (Mars make the coil) as I think that would give you the best depth for the type of target I think you are looking for. Deus 1 is a good machine but isn't known for great depth. Worth asking in some of the Facebook groups too as this is all just my opinion.

      @AeroStriker893 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@tcDetects thank you for your advice. The Atrex looks very nice indeed. I noticed you can purchase it with the white disc or the black one. Is their a diference between the two? Performance wise that is.

    • @tcDetects
      @tcDetects  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@AeroStriker893 the white coil is more stable in direct sunlight, it is also slighty larger at 29cm vs the black coil at 28cm... so in theory the white coil will be very slightly deeper.

    So far I have only seen 2 rutus versa detectors in action here in the states. They are decent machines in the single frequencies but in multi frequencies they were completely useless. They could not handle any level of emi when in multi frequency.

    • @tcDetects
      @tcDetects  8 месяцев назад +1

      No issue with EMI with the Versa in my experience unless directly under it, which would be the same for most MF machines

      @@tcDetects hmmm ?? There were manticore users and deus 2 users and nokta legend users in the same area and they were not affected as much as the versa.

    • @tcDetects
      @tcDetects  8 месяцев назад +4

      @@lancemcilwainoutcastmetald5398 as I said, not my experience at all so may be user error, e.g. not coil balancing properly, running sensitivity too high etc. Hard to comment on specifics as I wasn't there for what I presume was some sort of group dig? But I've got a Legend, and used Nox, White's, Garrett's etc (all MF machines) and the Versa is no more susceptible to EMI than any of those, and as you can actually use the EMI graph on the Versa you can find a clearer frequency and use that, a feature not available on other machines. But hey, each to their own.
