Afraid not, but Space Haven does scratch one or two of the same itches as X4, and I'm trying to make this series accessible to newcomers. Consider giving it a watch! Otherwise, never fear, the X4 content will continue.
It definitely draws inspiration from both! It's been developing its own unique style though. There have even been a few "living universe" elements added recently, which is cool to see as an X fan.

I love x4, and I love Rimworld, so from a first viewing I believe i'll also like this game! Curious to see how this series will develop!

Interesting game, has a bit of FTL flair mixed with some Rimworld elements.
