Deathwing, Mad Aspect has to be one of my favorite well designed cards, lore wise it's incredibly accurate, balance wise it's the closest thing you can get to perfect balance I can think of, and the fact that it does the capitalized ALL for emphasis really hammers it in that this card really is that crazy while also letting you know it's not meant to be used when ahead without risk of hurting yourself more than your opponent. Definitely an amazing card, and I've been having so much fun with him in core and honestly I could see him going to 6 or 7 and being a meta relevant player in either standard or wild.
Zzeraku as far as i remenber from playing him was pretty decent at the time, mostly he was at worst a 8 mana taunt minion or removal magnet (Which if you're playing handlock, yeah you hae plenty of other things that removal magnets so your opponent mind have just runned for this one) and if you actually managed to get enough self damage in a turn for him or god forbid he actually lied the turn after you played he was an immense amount of value.
Ironically, going by my usual Ramp Druid games, Ysera's portals often end up doing nothing because the deck has such absurd amount of value and mana that my board is almost always overfilled and the portals fizzle lol
Thematically, such a cool expansion. I'm pretty sad it missed it some an extent. That being said, Deathwing is so worth it for the entrance animation and voice line alone. Fucking epic.

Descent of Dragons is easily one of my fav expansion and was one of the expansions that hyped me the most, but the powercreep afterwards is bummer

This is a win-win versus aggro decks, because they dunno what to do with that amount of mana

i will say, i was very low ranked and entirely f2p back then, so my perspective is def not up to par with everybody

This is honestly one of my favorite expansions. Galakrond warrior have to be one of my favorite decks of all time.
