I just found out about this video, but I've been watching your channel over 1.5 years now... I allways enjoy your content, and I find the way you explain things very easy, educational and fun to follow.
I'm Dutch (from the Netherlands) but I've learned this U.S. expression:

Which as far as I'm concerned should mean; it don't matter what life throws at you, find a way to cope with and enjoy it which you we're given.
Stay healthy and I'm looking forward to your next video John (and cat😁) 😉👍

    Hi John
Nice to get to know you.
I wish that you wouldn't be so hard on yourself. Lots of us appreciate you.
For me what keeps me coming back to your channel is the calm that you bring to me, especially since electronics is the hobby that helps me unwind from the high charge work at the office. Though I studied electronics early on, my life took a couple of different turns. Your videos bring me back to my younger years.
In particular, I like your projects that take an LM or TDA chip and build an amplifier or something. These are projects that I can show to my daughter as they are simple enough. They also fit in my small time budget, as the family and work take up a lot, obviously.
It is especially important for me to understand as much as possible about what we are doing, and that is much more important than short video time. Actually, my commute is about 40 minutes...
It is very important to me to know what to measure and what to expect.
    Keep up the good work!
I hope that you and your family remains healthy and I wish you lots of great things.
    Cheers
    Mark

Just recently found your channel and have been enjoying your videos very much. I even listen while on my commute to and from work most every day recently (45 min each way). It’s nice to be able to put a face to the hands, workbench, and oscilloscope. Channels like yours are what keep me on RUclips. I have no background in engineering despite an early desire- I went in a different direction (or several actually). Now I have the opportunity to explore these interests through channels like yours. It’s such a treat to be able to learn from people who love what they do enough to teach in their free time. Just watched the video, and, feeling as if I’ve actually met you, really wanted to express thanks and gratitude to you for sharing your breadth of knowledge with me.

... and a few minutes after commenting I have to add: Just purchased the mentioned LOVE-Album as CD. Didn't ever hear of that band but discovered some other unknown ones, so I probably can give two tips in response: The bands "England" and "Fruupp". So long

I've only just started watching your channel and found your amp construction series excellent. Such an amp would seem a daunting challenge to someone just starting in electronics. It's very relaxing to watch and easy to follow, however, despite the amount of technical information provided. I think it's down to your manner of delivery which doesn't feel artificial or scripted at all without however being bloated with waffle or unnecessary information.

Hi John, that was a great video, you and I have a lot in common, I was interested in electronics at a young age. went to a community college took the electronics program, like the Beatles, classical music, like hearing a album all the way through. I was an introvert for my younger years, a was a loner for much of my life, I retired as an union electrician at 55 that was 5 years ago. I just love speakers, amplifier circuits. since my retirement I got back into electronics, and will never be sorry that I did! I thank guys like yourself who teach us so much, it's better than going back to school. as far as you style, don't worry about it!!! you are who you are!!! and that is what brought you to over 6000 subscribers. you are well liked, as I read from the comments below!!!

Hi John ! I had just started to watch your videos and found them very helpful. You are unique on your way of explaining the theory. I kept looking for more of your videos hoping you had more because your presentations are great!! I see i am not the only one that comes back to electronics. I graduated in the late 80's but it was never my day job. Now that i am retired , it is my hobby. Thanks for your channel..

Retired already? I have a friend who retired in his mid 50's. I'm not quite at his age yet but I hope to retire in my 50's as well. It is not looking promising at this point though. I'm just not making the money I need to save to get there. Anyhow, thanks for watching!

John, love to watch your videos and learn a lot from them. I did so-so in high school, and was a loner, wish I applied myself more. Similarly, years after high school I went for 2 years of technical school for Digital Electronics Technology (back when DeVry was a technical institute).

I'd like to see a vid on high voltage rail to rail amps. I salvage several huge transformers out of a couple of TEAC and Pionier Stereo amps and the highest output side comes out 60Vdc +/- rectified. It has multiple other taps and I thought it would make a great multi-voltage PS or another great power amp. Thanks for all your great videos. I retired back in 2006, but I still work on hobby jobs and have kept my 6:30am to 5pm every day. And like you, I'm debt free with tons of projects waiting for me. I'm single 12 years and content

I'd be honored to have You as a friend. Our lives are too short to be bothered with shallow success and trophy wives (families). Live Your life like You see fit and enjoy it to the best of Your abilities. Keep providing the content and I wish You the best.

I find your instructional videos generally easy to follow and well spoken. You've got 4x the viewers in half the time so your doing 8x better than I am, though not much of a standard to measure against! Always wanted to be self employed but never had the guts to take the leap. Your drawing is pretty awesome, don't know why you don't want to do more. My Dad is good at drawing too, always drawing little things, like he'll see an interesting face in the newspaper and will draw a copy of it off to the side., He took a water color class but unfortunately didn't stick with it afterwards.

You are doing great work, I don't see any issues with your presentation it is quite natural not just scripted. Thanks for sharing these videos.
