Never thought that the Grasslands are home to so much of diverse wildlife. We need to protect these grasslands. Good story.

A wonderful effort of these people, especially the vision of their leader Godbole. Invoving locals in the project is something very important and rejected earleir in the Indian wildlife conservation projects. This is the single most important point for long term sustenance of such projects.

Very good initiative. Habitat restoration is only key to having balance in population of predators and preys. Loss of one specie is always taken over by other. Dogs entered with humans they are ones to be blamed. While There is competition for food and it is a issue, they are not even 10% responsible for wildlife and habitat loss. Key is restoration of habitat and top predators.

Dogs, wolves and jackals have had genetic interchange since the beginning. Its really sad that dogs have to be excluded now since they outnumber wolves. I ne fact that wolves are at risk of being genetically swamped out by dogs disturbs me.

Unfortunately any half information will divert to blame game and hatred towards one specie defeating the concept of creating coexistence with nature. Compassion is either there in humans or missing. Main issue should be safeguarding what we are restoring from grazing pressure and encroachment which is double the speed of restoration.
